Cotton's eyes widened in surprise and he crouched down next to Jewel, examining her for injury. "What's wrong?" he asked, worried.

Jewel winced.
"M-my leg." she meowed.
She turned over to show Cotton the large deep scar on her right front leg.
She didn't remember how she got it, but she's had it ever since she could remember.

Cotton gasped as he looked at the wound. Jewel needed help. "We need to find some chamomile..." he said hesitantly, wishing he knew more about healing, "I think it gives cats strength. My mother gave it to me once. And here," he grabbed a stick and gave it to her, "Bite this. It'll distract you from the pain."

Jewel hesitantly took the stick.
Cotton was right, the more pressure she put on it, the less she felt her leg.
She noticed that he seemed nervous.
"D-Don't worry, I'm okay..." she tried mewing confidently.
"You don't have to worry...!"
She couldn't help wincing when a fly landed on her arm.

Cotton worried.
Chamomile, chamomile... He had to remember!
Chamomile...
Wait! He had it!
A small white flower with a big yellow center... Found in cool, sandy soil... It strengthened hearts and calmed minds...
He hoped he'd remembered right.
"Steam! We need to find chamomile. It's a white flower with a yellow middle that grows in sandy soil!" he said, hoping he was right. He hadn't thought about it in a long time.

Jewel watched them come over to her.
Her leg was throbbing from putting so much weight on it while trying to get away from the attacker.
She couldn't hold her self up anymore and she collapsed on the ground, yowling in pain.

Stream nodded worried. She went to go find the white flower. Hopefully Jewel would be alright. She looked around for it and then spotted a few. "yes!" she said grabbing it in her mouth. She ran back overn to Jewel and Cotton then set it down. "here they are"

Cotton sighed in relief and pushed it toward Jewel, instructing, "Eat these. They'll help." At least, I hope they will...

Jewel hesitantly took the flower in her mouth and started chewing.
She never thought she would eat a plant...
'Ewww' she thought as she chewed the flower.
It was bitter, yet juicy in a bad way, which she never thought she'd think.
But, she suprisingly trusted Cotton, and she knew Stream wouldn't give her anything harmful.
She swallowed, shivering in discust.
"W-what do the flowers do...?" she meowed, still trying to get the taste out of her mouth.

Cotton took a deep breath. "They will strengthen your heart and calm your mind..." I think... "My mother gave them to me once. They should help."
