" well if you count ticking off she cats and looking after siblings fun there's your answer sweetie . But mostly I just hunt I haven't done that in a while ....Mostly due to little silky " he meowed that was his nickname for Silkkit since of her fur style . He sighed and looked up at the sky thinking about random things . He then looked back at moonclaw with a annoyed smile.

“Silky, that’s your sister..right? Silkkit. I heard she is close to being an apprentice!” Moonclaw remarked with a smile. Moonclaw loved Silkkit. They were good friends and Silkkit showed Moonclaw Brindlestep.

I just hope she's not getting herself into trouble I promised father I'll take care of this family ...there was also another thing he used to say.he said Son if you don't like me that's fine it's not my job to be liked , but to do what's right. She smiled a his protectiveness and felt her heart grow even more towards the tom. “Last time I saw her she was beating up Orangepaw,” she giggled. Silkkit was much like herself. Dread filled her. What if Brindlestep only loved her like he loved his sister?

Servalspots mock-bowed, his eyes twinkling playfully as he straightened up. He was larger then Goldenstar - but didn't look down on the leader. Oh no, for all his teasing, he did believe that Goldenstar was doing a good job of leading the Clan and from an outside perspective, other then it being leafbare, things were running quite smoothly. Smiling, the tom touched his tail to the leader's shoulder in a friendly gesture, although his wink and purr seemed to tell a different story. It was in Servalspots' nature to flirt. That was just a part of who he was - whoever couldn't deal with it, well, tough luck for them.

"Goldie!"

Goldenstar stood confused for a second. He had forgotten about the nickname Serval had given him. Golden took that greeting to be a welcome to go closer to the tom, now where they could both talk to each other without practically yelling across the clearing. He laughed as he saw the smirk on Serval’s face. He didn’t seem to have much respect for anyone in a high Rank, and he could only hope that the warrior didn’t give Halfgaze or Daydream a hard time. How they would react to that, the shorthair had no idea. Either way, Golden was fine with the way Serval acted around him, he almost found it funny to be honest. “I honestly think I should make up a nickname for you,” he said playfully, smiling at the other tom.

"Ah, nothing much. Scrawny mouse, already half-dead frog - problems with leafbare, y'know? On the bright side, though, some other cats will probably have more luck."

“That’s What leafbare is,” Golden said, shrugging. He had never really been a fan of leafbare. He found snow fun to play around in, but it was the cold bite of winter and the lack of prey that made him not like it at much.”It’s better than nothing,” he said, happy that there was still prey running, even if it wasn’t plentiful. One mouse could help the nursery, as small as it might be. He nodded, hoping that other cats did have luck, since they needed all the food they could get. Sure, it might become stale, but in leafbare, stale prey was better than nothing. He knew other cats would bring something in, since there had to be more prey unless Serval scared it all away. However, he highly doubted that Serval scared it all away, despite the possibility that he could have.

"And what about you, hm? How are things in the great world of leaders?"

Golden shrugged as Serval asked about how he was doing. “It’s...stressful,” He said simply. That wasn’t the best way he could compile everything happening between the clans, but he was going to roll with it. “You know, on the brink of war, normal things.” he added, trying his best to explain. Well, he guessed being on the brink of war wasn’t normal, but it had happened so often, anxiety had just become normal. He didn’t need to go into details, his personal problems didn’t seem that big compared to what the clans were going through. Maybe they were, either way, he didn’t need to be a spoiled brat, complaining about everything the world threw at him. Sometimes you have to learn to deal with things, he told himself, as he knew he couldn’t change other cats. As much as he wanted everything to be sunshine and rainbows, he would have to settle for a somewhat cloudy sky and a light drizzle.

”The Clan's running smoothly under your expert leadership from an outside eye, just in case you were interested to know, your greatness."

The leader nodded as Serval continued to speak. Expert leadership. He had never really called his leadership that, but maybe Serval was right. There was a lot of stress behind that leadership though. No matter. Golden was able to realize that Serval was flirting with him, and he laughed. As flirtatious as he was, he was fun to be around, and it let Golden relax. It let him take a little bit of time for himself, and allowed him to take a break from leadership. He was aware of Serval’s tail on his shoulder, and laughed. “Stop flirting, mouse brain,” he teased in a good-natured way. He didn’t exactly want anyone to get the wrong idea, but he didn’t mind either. If you didn’t get mistaken for mates a few times, then you weren’t really friends. Of course, that was a joke. Either way, Serval was a good friend in many ways, the leader cuffing the warrior’s ear playfully, smiling.

What have you been up to today?" replied Meadowflower with a friendly smile. The molly felt her fur fluff up as a cold chill went through her pelt. That totally was uncalled for, but there was a chill that rushed past me, so I couldn't help, but let it out.

Nightshade stood outside the leader's den, her pelt bristling a little. She took a deep breath and shook her head. She had wanted to ask Goldenstar if she could take her apprentice to go speak to StarClan. Nightshade was really worried about her apprentice and thought that she might need this. Her paws trembled as she took a step closer.
"Goldenstar? It's Nightshade. I was wondering if I could talk to you?" she wasn't even sure that Goldenstar would be in his den at the moment. She waited for his response in silence, if he was even in there.

Lying on a lush patch of grass, Cardinalsnake was on his side and soaking up the sunshine. His clean, russet pelt glimmered in the sun and felt quite glorious at the current moment. His eyes were closed as he rested peacefully, the quiet hum of his clanmates voices buzzing in the background as he put himself in a calm state. Beside the tom lay a small pile of bones and beside that, a small pile of ruffled feathers. He had just eaten a small snack, one that would keep him energised enough to go hunting soon. The sun was just approaching sunhigh and Cardinalsnake was lazing in the clearing, enjoying the warmth on his pelt and allowing himself some time to rest and become more energised.
The tom suddenly sat up, tucking his paws in and curling his tail around them. He frowned as he looked down and noticed that one side of his pelt was ruffled, the fur messy from being squished against the grass. Sighing, he bent his head down and started grooming his fur. He always had to look his best, after all, a pretty she-cat might be passing by and the warrior had to look impressive. First impressions were very important. Stroke by stroke, he smoothed down his fur and soon enough, both sides of his pelt were equally neat. Lifting his head and letting out a satisfied breath, he closed his eyes for a bit and didn’t move a single muscle as he let the warmth reach every part of his body. Leaf-bare would be upon the clans soon and he had to enjoy the warmth while he could. Soon enough, the sun would be out for less time each day and that meant he had less warmth to enjoy and less sunlight to make his russet pelt glow.
From where he sat, Cardinalsnake wriggled. He was growing restless. He had spent enough time by himself and he had the itch to socialise. The tom was a social butterfly and he couldn’t stay too long away from his clanmates. He needed to talk, he needed to comment on the weather, he needed to flirt. His paws itched for him to jump up and run on the spot. That wouldn’t be a good look and he couldn’t afford to do such a silly thing, so he sat stiffly and silently hoped for someone to come past quickly. Anyone would do, as long as they could hear and talk.

Halfgaze padded into the clearing, shaking water off of her paws in turn as she walked. Her short hunting trip had led her to one of the boggier parts of Shadowclan and some muck still clung to her feet. A single lizard swung from her jaws as she headed for the clearing. Halfgaze had always enjoyed short early morning hunts to wake herself up and had limited herself to one catch so that she would make it back to camp in time to carry out any duties that still needed to be completed. Now that she was in the camp, however, the deputy found that everything seemed to be going swimmingly. She had assigned patrols the evening before and it seemed that the necessary ones had already left. The camp, which had been dead when she left, was now a bustle of activity. Halfgaze dropped her lizard on the pile and looked around for a place to sit for a moment and give her paws and legs a quick once over. Her mismatched eyes landed on Cardinalsnake and a little smile leapt to her face. It was always nice to spend some time with old friends.
Still smiling, Halfgaze walked over to her friend, creeping up at the last second to try to throw a paw over his eyes and crow, "Guess who!" Laughing, the molly sat down beside the russet tom and started grooming the wet fur. "Good morning!" She chirped, focusing her dual-colored eyes on Cardinalsnake as she washed the dirty water from her paws.

Goldenstar had been calmly sitting in his den. Bella was out hunting somewhere, and Tallwhisker was doing Starclan knew what, so he took his moment to just be by himself. However, as he heard Nightshade, he looked up. He had almost been scared by the She-Cat to be honest, since everything in the den had been so quiet before then. He smiled and nodded when she asked to come in. ”What do you need?” He asked calmly, wondering what led the mentor up here. Her apprentince wasn’t ready for their warrior name yet, were they? He didn’t know. He just waited to see what the mentor would say, since she seemed to be on edge.
