Relationship of the Month [ Unofficial May 2023 ]

welcome to the unofficial relationship of the month! the place to give recognition to all relationship dynamics as there are so many wonderful ones. there are family, friends, rivalry, so many. this is an unofficial relationship of the month. keyword is unofficial! (i know, i've said it three times hehe) you will not be displayed on monthly kudos or get an award on your profile, but!! i will give you a badge of honor and draw your character!! it'll also be displayed below for all to see! i do hope it will eventually be official but for now, it's unofficial hehe.

voting begins on may 22nd and will end on may 31st!!

temporarily, i am seeing if allowing others to nominate relationships that include their character will increase activity and variety within the polls. as currently rotm leans heavily to high rank characters & their roleplayers. you still must include one different roleplayer.

things to keep in mind!!

1. characters should have been roleplayed within the last two weeks of being nominated to avoid inactive characters being featured !
   
   
2. you may not nominate relationships with your own character, or advertise relationships with your own character to gain nominations.
   
   
3. characters used to violate a roleplay rule cannot be voted for the month they broke the guideline. they will be removed from the final polling.
   
   
4. nominations must include an explanation of why the relationship deserves recognition. posts that do not provide a reasoning will be voided. along with that, be thorough in your evaluation of the character !! vague or simple statements (e.g. "they're cool") will result in your nomination being discarded. c'mon, tell us why they deserve this! plus, you'll make the roleplayers really happy.
   
   
5. you may nominate two relationships but avoid nominating relationships who have already been nominated.
   
   
6. when nominating a relationship, please include one different roleplayer.
   
   
7. a relationship is not limited to two characters but is capped at four characters as it would be very difficult to and time-taking to fit anymore characters in an art piece.
   
   
8. please be mindful of nominating characters in different relationships when they already won the last month. you are allowed to - but it is encouraged to nominate for different characters if able! the same goes with roleplayers.
   
   
9. any art is free to be put on character sites, toyhouse, used as profile photos, etc. you are allowed to do whatever with it art once given. however, do not use it for commercial users nor sell it alongside a character with an added price. (etc : putting a character up for sale and having the artwork count as $5 towards the price despite it having been given for free.)
   
   
10. a relationship who has won before may only be nominated after 6 months.

RELATIONSHIPS OF THE MONTH

Snowkit [ @lio ] ] & Stonepaw [ @carmen ] and Berryfrost [ @Rose ] & Basilkit [ @puppeteer ]

• Found family is one of my weaknesses, and these two have one of the cutest, most wholesome sibling relationships ever. From both of them instantly thinking of the other whenever there is danger, to their adorable interactions together in times of peace and quiet, they have a very visible and natural feeling bond despite of how very dissimilar both characters are. Basilkit's outgoing, loud, fun seeking personality would normally clash with the more quiet, reserved, and shy Berryfrost, but if anything they compliment each other, Berryfrost always seeming just a little more confident whenever Basilkit is involved with Berryfrost's more thoughtful personality being reflected in Basilkit whenever they are together. I feel that as siblings they are so well roleplayed together, and would definitely be deserving of being featured for their lovely relationship. - Alchemist Kitsune

SO CUTE. from snowkit wandering into the medicine den (and sneezing a lot) to imitating stoneypaws everytime he speaks, i just love the little itty bitty exploring!! stonepaw's reactions to snowkit are the most adorable thing ever, being happy that she came to visit him even through his own internal conflicts. snowkit finding out about her mother teaching herbs to stonepaw as well as her many questions that followed are so cute and i really can't wait to see where their friendship will go!- lio

okay. listen. listen. these two are just so skrunkly i love them very much and even if they only recently began to like?? talk and such, i love every single one of their posts together because they're so fun!! from the two playing mossball together, to having a nice conversation about the philosophy of mossballs, to asterdance being surprised by gentledoe's use of petnames, to her waking them up and saving their trinkets from the sinkhole... i love them all!! i really can't wait to see where their relationship goes, i love their dynamic so much already aaaaaaaa!!!
