Turtlekit didn’t expect that. Fawnlight stepping down? And who even was this Stonekit she chose to replace her? Turtlekit really wanted to be medicine cat and felt she could do it so she was kinda annoyed.

DaisyRoot's attention got pulled away to FawnLight as she talked. The cat saw the mangled she-cats body. The fur was singed and DaisyRoot was horrified. The cat dipped her head, sending a silent prayer to Starclan.

After hearing the call she arrived to the meeting. Expecting the normal, she sat down. When Pikestar announced that Fawlight had something to say, she clearly rolled her eyes. God they were both so annoying. Red thought they were that type of annoying to where she didn't want to hear both of their voices at this point. Sighing she listened hoping that it had some type of importance to her.

Great! It sure did. Finally something booted Fawnlight from her seat as Medicine Cat, although she did feel bad for the cat. She could, in the long run not give a crap. Standing, she had a smirk on her face, walking away before she grew a smile on her face. Maybe this change will finally bring some luck to Riverclan, she thought as she flicked her tail and walked.

(Warning: I don't share the same thoughts as RedHaze, we are two different things/beings.)

"Wha-," She felt bad for Fawnlight. Her whiskers quivered as she looked up at her. "Congratulations Stonekit," she said smiling. Though a pit in her stomach stayed there as she felt bad for Fawnlight.

Nightspark's eyelid twitched, he had a spasm in his shoulder and his jaw opened to scream a silent "WHAT?" he was disconcerted, his thoughts ricocheted in his skull, but only one often came back: why did Starclan had abandonned her? Why? His voice returned and he jabbered a strangled what?

Slight shock flickers trough the tom and he murmurs a soft noise.

A pit settled in Slatestripe’s stomach as Fawnlight limped out of the leader’s den. What in StarClan’s name had happened to her? Slatestripe unconsciously leaned closer, as if that somehow would close the distance between him and the medicine cat and allow him to hear better.

She was… stepping down? After hearing about what happened to her front paws, Slatestripe wasn’t surprised. A small amount of frustration bubbled within him; Fawnlight had made a reckless decision, and the Clan was paying for it in the loss of their medicine cat. Sympathy overrode that, though; this cat was losing everything she’d ever worked for and set her heart on.

He perked his ears as Fawnlight announced that she’d be training a new medicine cat: Stonepaw. Slatestripe chanted the name of the new apprentice, sending him all of his silent best wishes.

Flintfang could not help himself. Just the sight of young Fawnpaw- Fawnlight's paws made his heart cleave in two for the rosetted damsel. Fresh, sparkling tears pricked at his eyes as he imagined first the immense pain Fawnlight seemed to have gone through, then the loss she must feel now that she could no longer work under the rank that she'd put so much time an effort into. Her paws, that had once worked to deftly to ail their clanmates, now fell useless. Flintfang was really ready to cry. All he wanted was to amble over to her side and wrap her in a hug, because truth be told, Flintfang saw Fawnlight the way he saw Silverpaw. Merely imagining Silverpaw in this condition brought him immeasurable, immense pain. And then, when Fawnlight made her way to stand beside Stonekit, proclaiming the shell-collecting kitten as the next medicine cat, Flintfang's heart dropped like a rock into his stomach. No. Stonekit. The young, innocent little kit that had trotted up to Flintfang and had pestered him with questions. He was far too young to begin his life this way. Ears pinned back against his skull, the silver warrior swallowed with pain. Stonekit was going to start his life seeing sickness and pain and sadness. It would undoubtedly scar the poor kitten for life. And all Flintfang could do was wrap his tail tightly around himself and wish the world didn't seem so wrong all the time.
