The brown she-cat sat down carefully on the ground, glancing around in boredom. A faint annoyed expression flashed onto the usually kind-hearted face; why was it so boring here? Twisting her head around, her gaze skimmed over the cats in the clearing before travelling back to the ground beneath her paws. Absolutely boring, she thought and stifled a sigh.
Badgerear entered the clearing in a good mood. He had a good hunt earlier and it felt nice to feed the clan. The large tom spotted Berrynose and strolled over to his clan mate.
"Howdy! How's" he began but stopped when he noticed the usually good natured cats strange expression. "What's going on Berrynose?" He asked concerned.
"He'll learn," the queen insisted, clearly wanting the kit to stop.
