Salt's territory

The young white cat,known as Salt, was crouched near the old building.Any sensible hunter could see there where a few things the eight-moon old cat was doing wrong.For one,his paws where to far forward,and his tail was swishing on the gravel,causing the rocks to move.He didn't know this though,being at his inexperienced age,or maby it was because he focassed mainly in fighting.He was more concerned about his ability to defend himself than starvation.He knew he needed to get better though,so he had claimed his own little "Territory" which was really only a abandoned,run down building that had been made the home of many rats and mice.

Suddenly a paw lands on top of salts head “ you’re doing it all wrong little hunter” said none other than Lucifer himself. He smiles a bit and begins to crouch a bit doing it as skillfully as he can. “ calm down, legs are too far forward and your tail is slashing keep it straight. When you fight, you fight to kill and protect yourself understood?”

Salt studied Lucifer's crouch for a second and managed to fix his paws,and he lifted his tail slightly off of the ground so it wasn't scraping the pavement.He looked back at the building,preparing oince again to pounce inside at the rat that kept poking it's head out. @Broken Madness

He smiles softly “ okay once you see a opportunity..” suddenly he pounces onto the rat with ease pinning it between his claws “ you strike. Did you get that my little warrior?”

Salt nodded,sitting up."Yhea.Don't let my tail drag on the ground,and don't put my legs to far forward.Don't pounce until there is an opening." He explained.

Salt nodded,crouching down.It was much better than the previous crouch,and he almost had it completely right.He had alwase been a quick learner though,so this wasn't a huge surprise.He watched the rat under Lucifer's paw,waiting for him to let go.
