[Vessel]

Fountain opened his eyes, startled awake by the sun pouring into his den. He shifted a little in an effort to escape the light, only to be pricked by a thorn in his backside. He held back a yelp, not wanting to disturb his siblings cuddled around him, and took in the scene that he always woke up to.

Tower was closest to him.

Well, actually, Tower was nearly on top of him. The taller cat's legs were splayed out randomly, and his head was buried in Fountain's soft fur as he snored.

Fountain sighed, but wasn't irritated. It made him feel at home.

Next to tower, entangled in his legs, was shell. Despite that, she was sleeping soundly. Furthest away was Wasp, which was unusual. The skittish tom was usually a burr in Fountain's fur- stuck to him and never coming off.

He wondered if Wasp had actually slept that night.

The light of the sun coming into the den invaded his senses. Letting out a soft groan he blinked open his eyes, glowing blue orbs had their vision blocked by fur. Bringing his head up, he seemed to be trying to get the fur out of his mouth, spewing softly as he took in a light breath.

Looking over at his other siblings he seemed to be taking in the scene and scents around himself. Though once he knew they were all there, he turned his gaze onto Fountain. Murmuring he gave a soft “good morning..”.

His eyes shot towards Shell. The blue orbs that had been peering at Fountain now facing Shell. Letting out a soft purr, he blinked at his sibling “hi Shell,” noticing the cat was entangled in his legs, he pulled them back against himself “sorry..”.
