"If that helps you sleep," Galahad called back, disappearing into the hall for several minutes. He didn't call back during that time, instead silence filled the area where he'd been headed, where the dog was supposed to be sleeping.

"Uh, huh," Joe replied, getting comfortable. After a couple of minutes, he yawned, growing tired. The bed was definitely nice. He jerked awake. Where was Galahad? He hadn't heard anything yet. What was happening? He debated going down, but decided against it. Galahad sounded like he knew what he was doing.

Galahad still hadn't returned after several more minutes, not even a sound heard through the hall. He neither yelled or called for help, there was just silence.

Joe frowned, beginning to get a little worried. What was taking Galahad so long? He poked his head out of the dome. There wasn't even a sound from the house. What was going on? Cautiously, Joe made his way down the tower until his feet touched the ground. His legs shaking slightly, he called out in a wavering voice, Galahad? Are you there?"

There wasn't a response. The only sound that began was that of the weird thing that created a breeze throughout the house, gently purring. Other than that, Galahad wasn't heard.

Joe twitched his whiskers in puzzlement. Was he being pranked? He pricked his ears, hoping to hear a sound. He recoiled when the breeze blew through the house. He needed to get it together. Venturing to the door, he cautiously peered out of it. "Galahad?" His voice echoed strangely.

Galahad never responded. He wasn't exactly known to prank, either. He could be teasing, joking, and overly rude at times, but wouldn't play a prank. But the halls stayed quiet.

Joe twisted his ears around, waiting for a response other then the sound of his own voice. Galahad usually wasn't one to pull a prank on him. He definitely didn't want to venture out into the house without knowing where the dangers were. He had no idea where the dog was, or if his brother was even in the house. Joe took a deep breath, took one last look around at the silent hall, and slowly inched his way toward a large-looking room.

The only thing of Galahad around was his scent, followed heavily by that of a dog, most likely the one the talked about. It lead to a room far from the large room, with the door slightly open and dark.
