Closed Powers?

I fairly certain powers are generally not allowed in the main clans, but would it be acceptable for an outsider character to have some mystic abilities (essentially your run-of-the-mill fortuneteller/witchy type things) so long as they don't interfere with the main clans?

Unless you are in possession of a power card, which is no longer available for purchase, powers are a no-go in the Main Roleplay, which includes outsiders. Instead, you can purchase a purrk to try and get a similar effect, or have your character tell fortunes / etc with it being reasonably inaccurate.

@panchiko Thank you! That's fair, if rather dissappointing...

In a similar vein, are outsiders required to roleplay or buy herbal knowledge, or could I write an aged character with a backstory that explains where they got it from?

You can write posts that take place in the past with the character discovering the herb knowledge if you want it to be part of their backstory, but they have to have it roleplayed out and/or possess the Herbal Knowledge purrk to have the knowledge, regardless of their Clan affiliation (or lack thereof)! @Collieheart
