Tooth and Frost

Before falling asleep, Shadefrost recalled consuming a small mouse to appease his hunger, but as slumber overcame him, he realized that he should have satisfied his appetite at least an hour prior. This realization stemmed from the fantastical nature of the dream he was experiencing. There was no way this was real.

Foxtooth stood in the strange dream. He wanted to test how this would go. Hopefully, he was in a sensible cat's mind, and not a crazy Mousebrain going to tell their leader about a weird dream.

Foxtooth wandered into the dreamland. Taking notes of everything going on. He kept his eyes and his ears peeled for another cat. Starclan or not, it didn't matter. After a while, Foxtooth was about to give up looking for something until he saw a cat behind him He fully turned around and faced the cat.

The moment Shadefrost's eyes rested on the cat before him he knew what was happening. This wasn't just a dream it was a visit. But why was it Foxtooth? Of all the cats he'd have thought that he'd at least get someone that knew him in their life, but oh well. "Hey, I didn't know Starclan took traitors into their ranks," meowed the warrior casually.

Foxtooth was a little angry about the rude remark, I mean, he was pretty surprised himself. But still. A cat from Shadowclan shouldn't be talking about getting into Starclan. Everyone in Shadowclan was evil or a sheep. They don't even deserve the dark forest. Even the kits were evil! He started thinking of thoughts that would end him in the Dark-forest in seconds. But he shook his head. He was no longer in Shadowclan, he was in Starclan. And just in time. He didn't have to wait for her to get here. "Listen, I have no idea why I decided to do this. Shadowclan is my past now. That was in the past now. I would appreciate it if you stop talking about it. " He replied.

"Sure thing mister 'Im easily offended', I'll just stop talking about the one thing you're known for throughout the entire clan," Shadefrost gave his paw a lick, then began to clean his ears with practiced motions. "So what can I do for you in this nice little dream." The Blue-eyed warrior gave the tom one of his Cheshire grins making sure to add a cheerful tone to the question, "Is death too boring for you or something?"

Okay, now Foxtooth was getting pissed. This cat really made him angry. But, again Foxtooth was no longer his old self. So, he took a deep breath and tried to control his bubbling anger.

"I have no idea. Just wanted to test some things. And no, death is not boring. It's been great actually." He smiled. "I would give you a free ticket for a forever stay if I was alive right now.

Shadefrost gave a smirk at the ghost's comment, "Aww, how considerate of you, but don't worry I won't be needing it." The Shadowclan warrior gave his ear a final wipe then said, "but if you want, I can give your girlfriend that ticket instead." It was a little concerning how Shadefrost kept antagonizing cats without good cause, even more so that he was doing it to a dead one. But who cared, it wasn't as if the dead could do much anyway. "Hey, there's something I actually want to ask you and I know you said that you didn't want to talk about it, but why did you risk your life for some Windclanner?

He didn't know which Girlfriend this cat was referring to, well. He really had only one. The other two were just to keep his mind off of things. Which, she was dead also.. So this cat couldn't do anything. He decided not to bring this matter any further.

Now, the question. Foxtooth didn't really have an answer. He couldn't tell them he didn't know it would cost him his life, but he did know. At least to some extent. He knew it would get him into big trouble. The way his shoulders hurt for over a moon, not to mention how starving he felt. But, at the same time. He didn't regret doing it. In fact, he was thankful Dawnstar chose to kill him at the time she did. If he died too early, he would have to wait for Lilyheart. But now they were together again. And no clan rivalries would tear them apart.

He guess he had no real answer to the question. He never had a reason why. He just did it. "Well, I supposed I just liked her."

Shadefrost was amazed at how idiotic this cats answer was. "I just liked her," really that was the best he could come up with. Know the warrior was glad Foxtooth was dead, it didn't sound like he had anything to offer to the betterment of the clan and if he did would he? "You're joking right?" asked the tom incredulously.

He had to admit. What he did was dumb. It was stupid. Shadefrost had a right to be confused. He couldn't blame him. His answer was stupid, he was stupid. Everything he did from that point was stupid
