One moment she was grinning from ear to ear about the new den decor, and the next Redhawk was staring wide-eyed in fright as she watched Goatscrunch gasp and fall backwards. Having been too wrapped up in her stickening, she hadn't heard the elder's pleas - if there had been any - and by the time she rushed over to his side it was clear that the elder was dead. "G-G-Goatscrunch?" she murmured, using a paw to prod his side gently. Her own heart hammered in her chest as he felt odd - different. Whiskers quivered as she backed away a little, unsure of what to do. Should she call Drizzlecloud? Springpaw?

"B-B-Bumblestar!?" It was the only name she could think to call in a time like this, when she was unsure of what to do. The leader had always been steady, been calm in situations like this. Redhawk? She was the exact opposite. Her breathing came quick despite her attempts to calm herself, turning to look at the den entrance and willing the leader to have heard her.

The tabby apprentice ducked into the elders den with the materials they gathered outside of camp. They stiffed, hopping the elder wont question what they're going to be doing.

"Excuse me," they meowed to the elders with a dip of their head. "I need to clean this out." Copperpaw gathers old moss one by one outside into the clearing. They moved to remove the old bones from the elder's meal from the den but wrinkled their pink nose at the bone.

"Even though they are older and this is disgusting, they must be treated with respect." they reminded themselves with disdain. They breathed through gritted for fear of smelling the bones. Copperpaw was flooded with relief when the den finally looked clean. Now they could tell what the den needs for repairs.

They took the brambles and vines and moved up against the den wall. Strategically, they placed brambles and wrapped them with vines to reinstate the walls of the elders den. They stepped back and looked at all of the walls with narrowed eyes.

"There." they meowed. Copperpaw swiveled to face the entrance of the den and walked through it. They flicked their tail in acknowledgement at Sunleap. They grabbed the fresh moss bedding and laid it on the ground where the old beds were. "There you go! Fresh bedding and better walls!" Copperpaw's eyes lit up when they suddenly had an idea. They rushed out and came back with 2 shrews and 1 mouse.

"Here you guys can have these." they meowed. Their fur shivered in pride, they were doing something good for the elders anyways. Maybe this punishment wasn't so bad. They turned to Sunleap. "Alright I finished, can you come with me to report this to Bumblestar?"

Alpinekit ran into the Elders' Den with excitement. She crashed into the trunk head-first. Boom! Pain flooded through her head as she backed away.

Beachpaw -

Beachpaw entered the elders' den, clumsily swaying while trying to balance the rabbit atop themselves for easy carrying. If held in their jaws, it'd drag across the dirt and snow, and that seemed gross for a prize about to be handed off to the honored members of ThunderClan. "I brought some food!" they called out, muffled by the rabbit draped over them.

Wolfhive had noticed Beachpaw enter the den 'n decided to see how things were going. Outside of Beachpaw's voice, he was surprised by the lack of sound. "You two alive?" he chirped as he entered. "Did a 'coon steal your tongue? Never thought I'd hear an elder not jump at fresh food." Especially now that leaf-bare was nearing its end, the rabbit would still be decently warm.

Alpinekit was somehow in the left corner and she didn't hear Wolfhive. Her eyes were slightly watery from the pain. She couldn't feel her nose since it became numb. Maybe, it was bleeding? Who knows. The young she-cat watched Wolfhive and the other two quietly.

Cloudymouse shook his fur slightly. "I did not sleep well, but today is loud so I can't get more sleep." He stared at some grass for a few moments. "I'll probably go get food, I haven't left the den in a couple days." He patted the dirt a bit.
