Blackpaw watched with some amusement as the kits continued their play. He noticed another black furred apprentice washing her face and focused his attention on her.

What was her name again? He vaguely remembered her name had something to do with water. Riverpaw? Streampaw? Puddlepaw? No those can't be right. Blackpaw brightened as he saw her head towards the camp entrance.

Now's my chance to leave the camp! The young black tom dashed over to the black molly, skidding to a halt beside her.

"Hi! Are you going out of camp? Are you going hunting?" Blackpaw paused for a short intake of breath as he crouched, his gaze darting to the camp entrance and back to his fellow apprentice. "Can I come with you?"

Frondkit purred again and bounced upwards, batting the ball of moss back towards Juniperkit with a giggle before landing and grinning at his new playmate.

Juniperkit heard his new friend giggling and landing next to him, the kit felt joy bubble in his stomach 'this is...fun, I wish hemlockkit was here...where is she?' he thought as he began to think about his close friend, the tom shook his head to clear his thoughts 'I should be thinking about Frondkit, not Hemlockkit at the moment.' he decided and turned his sightless gaze upon his playmate "This is fun." he giggled then flung himself at the tom, playfully cuffing the other toms ear.

Blazekit sat next to Opalkit. "Warning: my littermate is bossy. Really bossy." he whispered in his ear. "Hey! I heard that!" Rootkit said as she pounced on her brother.

Rivermist was lying in a shaddy spot with a skinny piece of prey between her paws, Brightpetal had told her to take it but she couldn't eat, so it lay there with her uneaten. Her paws worked the ground as she sat there, she couldn't stay here and do nothing, she wanted to be doing something but there wasn't much for her to do.
She put her nose to the prey, the scent didn't make her mouth water as usual, it didn't feel right to eat alone. Brightpetal spent most time in the nursery with Fernkit, and Tinyear was now eating with Starclan so she had no one to eat with. She prodded the scrawny thing and stared at it, not planning on eating it anytime soon.

The young tom entered the clearing from the Warriors den. He stretched each of his limbs in turn, shaking sleep from them. After the doze he had taken, the tom felt refreshed after the training session with his apprentice Burstpaw. He let his bright green gaze flit around the clearing,making in the sights. He noticed one she cat in particular, that he had seen before, but had never really talked to. The orange tabby approached her, hoping desperately for her name to return to him, but sadly it did not, so he was left standing there, like a weirdo. "Uh, hey" he meowed awkwardly. "Not liking the fresh kill today?" He asked sheepishly. He wasn't quite sure of what to say, but the she cat looked lonely.

Rivermist looked up at the tom that had approached her, suddenly realizing she was sulking over prey in a dark part of the clearing, and feeling a bit flustered.
"Oh, no, I like-- I just.. uh... I don't usually eat alone and it.. feels weird." She stuttered, searching for the right words but nothing seemed to come to mind. She mentally sighed, now she looked like a weirdo in front of a clan-mate.

Dawnfrost purred with amusement and started swaying her tail for Cherrykit to play with it.

Greykit pounced a few more times before noticing Stoneheart jumping. He started joining in, jumping alongside him.

Flamingarrow lost his embarrassment almost immediately. The feelings were replaced by a feeling of sadness for the cat. A cat so pretty didn't deserve to be sad. Wait what? No, you just met her. Stop right there, you don't even know her name. He thought rather confused. "Oh, well, you don't have to be alone. I've nothing better to do if you'd like me to stay with you." He said. Then without waiting for a response he turned and padded to the fresh kill pile, plucking a small thrush from the pile and returned to Rivermist. He settled to his paws and gazed kindly at the she cat. "The name is Flamingarrow, by the way." He mewed bash fully.

Sudden happiness glowed in the she-cats eyes, her ear twitched a bit, she'd never met a tom so nice.
"Rivermist." She nodded, introducing herself. Her appetite suddenly returning to her, so she bit off a piece from her mouse. "Your name is nice, I like it." The words suddenly rolled off her tongue without her realizing, and she felt a new wave of embarrassment come over her after.
