Map Contest

The staff is looking for a new territory map to take place of our old one, found here!

Things to Keep in Mind:

• The map needs to display the current layout of the Clans!

For example, it should include that SkyClan territory is now owned by RiverClan under the name 'Lionsrange', and that ShadowClan has lost a portion of territory to RiverClan (which is named 'Lionsgrove'.)

Additionally, RiverClan is cut off from most of the Clans by a snaking river.

ShadowClan should have a somewhat marshy terrain with pines, and ThunderClan's territory has generally been a generic 'woods' setting with no specific species. WindClan consists of mainly moorland / plains.

• Include some new locations with neat names!

To keep things a bit refresher and help with roleplaying in the territories, we encourage you throw in some significant landmarks in each territory.

Ideally, I would like to move away from the old numbering system Fallow used-- name the places on the map!

• Avoid defining the boundaries!

While you can label camps, it'd be appreciated if the version you sent did not include the the borders being clearly defined! I would like to be able to keep the map updated as territories expand and reduce through roleplay.

If you insist on marking the boundaries, I will need the PSD or SAI files.

• Have fun!

This is a contest, not a war zone! Enjoy yourself and the maps other people create.

Submissions

To submit your map, send the map over to MAP CONTEST in a private message.

You are free to share your maps publicly if you wish-- this is just so the staff have a single location for entries.

Prizes

The winner will become the new official territory map!

In addition, winners will receive their choice of a shop card and 10,000 Koins.

Deadline

The contest will end December 3rd, 2019 @ 11:59 PM ET.

I personally use MDP files (these are used for fire alpaca) will I be fine, or will I need to to convert them to PSD?

I'm guessing they work about the same so it probably won't matter

Remember to save your maps in .png! It's the highest quality file format. Saving as .mdp or .psd will prevent staff from opening the file unless they have the program!

Saving it as the program file is only for those who decided to mark the boundaries, since it's hard to change those otherwise.
