@Galaxy_

As far as im aware im sure rendering is adding a more realistic look , shadows, contrast. A finalized look to your art piece, its more effort in art, which is why some artists change more for it.

Like how you go from flats (flat colors/ basic or the general idea where a color would be) and add more detail to bring that section of the art piece to 'life'.

what program do you use to draw?

usually, I suggest learning color theory to add more details (not necessary but might help)

also looking at others' art who have rendered and not totally and heavily reference but learning off them, might help to look up some videos on youtube

(Bluebiscuits has videos that might help you a bit)

But don't rush yourself into improving, I recommend practice!

I don't know much about Kleki, ill do some googling lol

(i use ibis) And using different brushes that help with mixing/blending colors really help improve, i don't recommend using the blur tool as it can make are pieces pixally and make the blurred colors look a bit messy.

edit: as far as I can tell kleki does look like a difficult to navigate program, drawing and animating.

On Kleki you can just slap in random colours and use the blending brush (Or blur tool) to kind of mash those colours together for a more realistic look.
I have some examples of my own work where I consider it to have rendering done.
