A silver she-cat jumped down from the cold stone rock and landed lightly on her starry paws. Looking at the normally fearless leader, she stood boldly and met his eye.

When the moon reflects blood, whispers will become yowls and secrets will become known. If MountainClan do not find a new home, their blood will also be reflected in the moon.

In the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, there are three clans of cats living in their own territories. MountainClan lives further into the hills and prowls the night guarding against the wolves that stalk down from the mountain peaks. BreezeClan lives on the flattened pieces of earth leading up to the foothills and they proudly fight off birds of prey from their heavily guarded territory. StreamClan live amongst a tangle of streams weaving between the flatlands and the foothills. StreamClan are agile swimmers but also are well trained hunters of land-prey for when the stream ices over in the season of leaf-bare. These clans have existed mostly in peace for many moons. But when a leader has a secret he is keeping from his clan and others, he risks shedding the blood of many clan cats and losing everything he holds dear.

The plot is basically that the leader of Mountain Clan has fallen in love with the medicine cat of another clan and she is expecting kits. The kits (4 of them) eventually (played out in RP) end up at MountainClan's camp with no explanation. MountainClan leader knows exactly whose kits they are and of course takes them in. These cats grow up (can be faster than actually RP'ing everything out) and start to question their origin. During this time, StreamClan and BreezeClan have started to team up claiming the snowdrifts and frozen stream have limited their prey severely, and are planning to attack MountainClan. They start to leave threatening hints at what they are planning together against MountainClan. When the kits find out their origins, they confront their father at a Gathering (which happens to be on the night of a Lunar Eclipse or the Blood Moon). The medicine cat from another clan is distraught and denies everything and her clan exile her, leaving them with her older apprentice. StreamClan and MountainClan decide to attack the night before the next full moon and MountainClan must decide what to do.

We'll start when MountainClan finds the kits at their camp.
