Welcome to Character of the Month, a feature designed to recognize two characters who deserve kudos!

Using the form found at the bottom of this post, you may nominate two Main Roleplay characters you think deserved to be featured! Please use one form per character - they should not be in the same form.

For the sake of giving every character a chance, avoid nominating cats who have already been nominated for the month.

Nominations will be held for approximately 3 weeks, ending around the the 21st of every month. Once it ends, a poll will be posted displaying the names of the characters who qualify for voting.

Users can vote for as many characters as they want to be recognize. It is discouraged to vote for every character listed, as only two will win.

If two characters have the most votes, but they are roleplayed by the same person, the winner will be picked by staff based on the nomination reasons, and the second winner will default to the next highest vote.

The voting period will end on the last day of the month, and the results will be posted on the 1st of the new month.

Before you nominate, please keep these in mind.

• Characters should have been roleplayed within the last two weeks of being nominated to avoid inactive characters being featured.
  
  
• You may not nominate your own characters, or advertise your characters to gain nominations.
  
  
• Characters used to violate a roleplay rule cannot be voted for the month they broke the guideline. They will be omitted from the final polling.
  
  
• Nominations must include an explanation of why the character deserves recognition. Posts that do not provide a reasoning will be removed. Additionally, be thorough in your evaluation of the character. Vague or thoughtless statements (e.g. "they're cool") will result in your nomination being discarded. We want to know why you think this cat deserves attention!
  
  
• You may nominate two characters, but avoid nominating characters who have already been nominated.

Why should this character be featured?: Yes, I love Spirit. Yes, I probably am way too attached to a fictional cat. Sue me. Anyways, Spiritkit/paw is absolutely adorable. The way he flip-flops between his almost puppy-like attachment with those who he is close with and his prickly nature with those who havent quite broken past his outer layers, he is truly a work of art. On top of his character being absolutely wonderful, the cherry on top of it all is the way rom rps him.

Why should this character be featured?: Dawnstar beware; theres a new wonderfully insane cat in town. Grimhound has an almost eerie beauty to his character, with a certain maniacal undertone covered by a smooth-talking exterior. Hes almost like those candies who are sweet on the outside and sour on the inside. Though he does restrain himself a fair amount when needed, when he is able to fully let loose and go to town on others (whether it be verbally or physically), it is truly a pleasure to watch.

He’s amazing!
They way he helps Nala is just incredible.
He loves her so much he will don anything I mean anything for her. He a,ways is there for her. He’s just amazing!

Why should this character be featured?: badgerpaw is such an interesting character, he's violent and devoted to dawnstar, and bliss writes him amazingly. (its almost scary how devoted he is.) badgerpaw has a severe hatred against his family, all except for his father, and has already killed his brother, and plans on killing his mother. I'm excited in seeing what the interaction will be between him and his mother will be like (besides death oBVIOUSLY.) I always enjoy reading roleplays that he's involved in! even if this grouchy guy doesn't want to be seen helping, he's helped get herbs for ebonyfang and bouncepaw.

Why should this character be featured?: Kes is a literal god tier character. He is Blizzardsky’s mortal enemy and literally not a bad guy. He accidentally dropped a kit in a river and rescued the kit, and Blizz jumped to kitnapper. He seems to be very responsible taking over patrols when Sootstar and Stormcall disappeared, and seems to sorta dislike his clanmates, but also cares about them. Gosh, I could go on about Kes for hours, but I should probably stop her?

Why should this character be featured?: Bunnyhop is such a cute character, she seems to love to help her clanmates out a lot, but also seems to be very human in a way because she was jealous of my character’s tail fluff, like how humans with straight hair want curly hair and people with curly hair want straight hair.

Why should this character be featured?: He has interacted quite often with Kestrelwing and the balance that they bring each other is one of my favorites to play out. His peaceful approach to solving problems yet laced with humor and loyalty is a pleasure to read. He bundles his love for his Clan with his desire to have everyone around him get along and it's quite wonderful to see!

Why should this character be featured?: The brains behind the operation, Pere is a highly intelligent cat who attacks situations from every angle she mentally can. She is always analyzing her surrounding. Her humor and wit is incredibly sharp as well and seeing her posts roleplayed out gives me chills!

Why should this character be featured?: Kestrelplash is a very well-developed character. He is very fun to rp with, and it's great how he is pretty romantic, but also how that can vary

Why should this character be featured?: Frogfang is not a nice cat. He openly tries to eliminate cats he considers as weak, and his lack of remorse and empathy make him a delightful read. Feather lily does a splendid job staying true to his personality throughout, always keeping him firmly in character. One of the best parts about him is his self-righteousness, and his extreme conviction that his viewpoint, is in fact the correct one. Overall he is an incredibly interesting and fun to roleplay with character, who definitely deserves to be recognized.

Why should this character be featured?: OMG She is so cool (no pun intended but ya know-) She is hardworking, and I love reading her rps because Iciclepaw acts tough, but on the inside she is a marshmallow of love and kindness. Not to mention her powers, which are incredibly amazing, and she already is getting so much love from the WCO community, there is no doubt in my mind that Iciclepaw will win. And if she doesn't I'ma die a little inside because she (and panda) deserves it so much.

Why should this character be featured?: He is such a sweet character to read! I mean, while his patrol was attacked by a dog, (u know what I'm talking about, Rom) He risked his life, not in a stupid "oh please come save me, I did something stupid because I wanted to be a hero" but in a selfless way that didn't endanger anyone but himself. And how kind he is to my cat, Flickerpaw, with her aggressive mentor and her disability. I also love how he can see the best in every cat, even the grumpy leader of the patrol (who will not be named). Go Mushroomdream!

Why should this character be featured?: Do I have to say more,gosh I love him from Soft giving Moonsoot a butterfly to him just watching his mentor hunt. I find Softpaw just so huggable and friendly. I love him,The way Rom roleplays him being deaf and reactions to thing is just so good.

Why should this character be featured?: Eveningmist just fits so well with Buckstar,as a transgender person myself,I find myself relating to Eveningmist on a level of saying things like this in public and coming out. It's just so ah! I can't Eveningmist is a joy to just stalk and read about.
