Cleftpaw looked up when he heard Moonpaw pad out of the den. "Moonpaw!" He called, trotting over to her. The she-cat's black fur gleamed in the sunlight. "Moonpaw, our mentors will be awake soon. If we're going to go hunting we should leave now." He rubbed his muzzle against her cheek affectionately. Some other cats who were watching might think the two were in love, but this was simply how Cleftpaw greeted his best friend. There was nothing between the two of them that wasn't platonic.

The sunlight warmed her back as Moonpaw heard cleftpaw meow from across the clearing. She trotted over to great him. She nuzzled him in a friendly gesture. “Come on let’s go hunting” Moonpaw meowed as she ran off towards the forest knowing Cleftpaw would follow her.

"I don't see why not. StarClan cats are dead after all," Hollypelt replied thoughtfully, "I'm sure there's some way that they can." She shrugged slightly and looked back up at the clouds, deciding whether she thought StarClan cats were there now or not.

Hawkspeed smiled,"Probably..." He looked up at the sky, wondering if StarClan was watching them right now.

"I would hope so," Hollypelt meowed. "They can't stay kits forever, right?" She glanced at Hawkspeed, but continued looking at the sky. Suddenly she said, "Do you think they have weather up there?"

Hollpelt nodded and stared at the clouds, unable to pull her eyes away from them. She wondered if they were listening to her conversation now, "Do you think only friends and family watch us, or all the cats there?"
