The air was crisp and cool, an ideal kind of night for this. He couldn’t help but feel excited, the forest would be shaken with this. The nasty shadowclan brutes would be driven out, everybody would be in peace for the remainder of their absence. The tabby deputy let out a snicker as the windclan cats charged over the hill cascading upon the sleepy camp. He stepped aside letting the warriors do their job as his own patrol stood behind him. He would wait before turning his tail gently twisting behind him as his paws prickled with excitement. He would spare the pleasantries for his patrol.

With that the tabby deputy sucked in a shaky breath and charged for the camp hoping his patrol fell in behind them. More discreetly he would wrap around the camp wall before making his way through the branches til he slipped into the camp where the battle had already been initiated.

He scented windcats. Why were there windcats on their territory? And right after the Gathering, no less. As cats spilled into the area, the white tom glanced around for someone to fight. Preferably someone that wasn't overpowered. His clan loyalty washed through his veins, preventing him from acting sensibly. The cats who ran with the wind did not belong on this land, and he would get destroy them all. With a growl rumbling at his throat, he launched himself at an apprentice's flank, claws unsheathed and ready to defend himself.

Shaking with fear, she stood beside Nightshade, a little behind though. Similar to a shadow late in the day. Close, but behind you. And when Twilightstar yowled to attack, she lept in, following Nightshade with pure fear.

Croakingpaw saw the scared apprentice and with unsheathed claws, he launched himself at the apprentice. He was aiming to simply rake his paws down Windpaw’s face.
