The white molly shook her fur out, glancing around the camp.. Goodness gracious, the ckan seemed so tense... Maybe thst event, that joyful dream...

She cleared her throat, checking her leaf pile, the frshkill, and the juniper berries she had placed in their out piles. Some pretty flowers too. "Cats of ThunderClan! Gather 'round for an event! Come with a partner, preferabky romantically, but for ya younger cats, come eith a friend. I need some cats to volunteer to keep watch, and just to help me and my duties as well!" she called out, coughing slightly and sitting down.

She never spoke that loud, Dtarclan it hurt her oh do fragile throat.

Prom time, ya'll! We are going ti have a collection if people for... Sun and moon cantidates (prom king and queen). They will be voted on later! We need security, and volunteers for white.

Curled up in the shadows of the clearing, Fudge did what he enjoyed best. Keeping to himself. Away from the prying eyes of others. His apprentice ceremony had left him paranoid and with a bitter taste of reality that had still not fully settled in. He knew one thing for certain after it, however. He was to stay alert at all times. One never knew when these cats might turn on him.

A sudden yowl from near the center of the clearing making him almost leap from his pelt, the three moon old apprentice narrowed his eyes. A desperate attempt to cover up his fleeting fear if anyone were to have seen. One of the clan cats - at least, he assumed they were - was calling forth for everyone to join her. She wanted cats to gather with partners... romantic partners at that, too. Even with his usual look of aloofness and carefully constructed mask of uninterest, Fudge flinched, his tongue sticking out in a very clear look of disgust.

Ew, romance. He would never have a romantic partner, thank you very much. It was hard enough tolerating being in the same living space as these cats. Willingly sharing a life and a bond with one? Sounded like a pain.

Still... this event could prove useful. If Fudge wanted to blend in better with these cats, make himself known for at the very least being useful, he should probably start getting to know them. Or make certain he could put names to faces. This molly had said she needed some... help? It would probably save him from having to interact with too many cats if he was working in the shadows, away from the merry, loud cats. And he could keep an eye out on them! Overhear and learn names without having to socialize himself. Sounded genius to him, and as such he got up, padding up to the loud queen in time to catch her coughing.

Brow quirking only slightly as he stared up at the pale tabby with deadpanned, emerald eyes, the chocolate point kit sat. "Assistance," he declared, letting his intent be known to the older feline.

The white molly hadnt expected an apprentice, a young one at that, to offer assistance. She jumped slightly, before shaking her fur. "ah, with what, dear? And your name?" she asked, smiling gently. At least some cat noticed, she observed the other cats slightly, before fully turning back to the tom.

Ah, pray he didnt hear her cough of pain and how her voice strained slightly. The worst her voice had handled before that was her screaming in the middle of the night from those night mares. She wondered, sometimes, if they were messages, from starclan.

Although, they were short lived, they happened often. And the same, deep brown tabby had watched her terror. Wounded, heavily, reddish eyes now... No, she musn't think of that.

Not now, at least. This would be a merry event. She reached down to the pile of juniper and raspberries, before fitting some juniper behind her ear, to stand out from her pelt.

She then grabbed some raspberries, before fitting them behind the young feline's ear, and smiled. "just so i can find you easier!" she purred, flicking her tail softly. Thankfully, she still had good eyrdight, although granted, she eas young, she always got nervous of losing her ability to see.

But, she would be able to see him. Thats whst the herbs and berries in front if her were for. "unless... Of course, you'd prefer a poppy? Or... Bluebells? Marigold?" she asked, looking at the flowers, then back at him. "perhaps daisies?" she said, raising an eyebroe slightly.

Honeysuckle after her mate died a while back. she decided to give this a try maybe she will meet someone new. she walked over.

At the first question, Fudge blinked, uncertain of what to respond. He... hadn't quite thought that far. He just assumed he would be given instructions and he would be following them with as little chitter chatter as possible. Most of the other cats in this place seemed to enjoy doing that. Giving instructions and then letting you be. Seemed there were some exceptions to the rule. This molly among them. Kind of like Lamb, he supposed.

With a shrug, he responded the first question. It gave enough clarity to his intent, and he didn't wish to speak more than necessary. Waste of breath as far as he was concerned. Especially seeing as how he would not be able to answer her second question with a mere stare. "Sprucepaw," he drawled, refusing to state his kittypet given name here. It might conflict with his current goals if he were to be seen or heard not embracing the clan's traditions, including their ridiculous naming conventions.

Fudge didn't know what he expected. Probably instructions. To be shooed away. To have his name repeated back at him. Lamb had done that, after all. He certainly hadn't expected a couple of raspberries fitted behind his ear.

Eyes rounding ever so slightly in confusion, the young apprentice kit carefully schooled his face, opting for an emotionless semblance. He wasn't certain if this was one of those strange customs done by these cats. Maybe they just liked putting stuff in their fur. That would certainly explain Lamb's magical act when he kept pulling flowers and feathers out of his pelt like his housefolk had done their own when he lived in their nest. Gratefully, the juniper wearing molly explained the reasoning behind the berries. The explanation did open up more questions than it answered, but he supposed maybe this feline didn't know everyone around here either. It was a comforting thought, to know that he wasn't the only one that saw strangers no matter where he turned.

At her questions his gaze grew deadpanned before he shook his head. He could honestly care less what she chose to adorn his pelt with. If it served its purpose, the raspberries were fine. Besides, he might just have a snack after all this was done if he kept them. Not that... he was thinking with his stomach or anything. Realizing his head shake may have been perceived as either him disliking the berries or him wishing to keep them, he raised a dark brown paw to point at his head, keeping his gaze on the molly as he spoke.
