LARCH Male - He/They - Six Months - The Crafty Trickster
Larch, named after the tall conifer trees of the taiga, is a thin, scruffy blonde-morph red fox with pale yellow eyes. Thinner than the rest of his vulpine friends, Larch's legs, muzzle, and ears are long and narrow. He's a rather gangly thing, but still somehow manages to be just as agile and quick as any other fox, if not more so. Despite his thin frame, he has a thick coat of fur that ranges from white to blonde to gray, and serves to protect him from the elements as well as potential enemy attacks. His tail is thick and plumed at its faded white end; one might not even realize his true size without first giving him a significant prodding.
Larch was born to Fireweed and Spruce, alongside his two sisters Lichen and Pine, in the wetlands portion of the Boreal Realm during very early spring. He was part of a smaller skulk, made up of the aforementioned foxes as well as his grandmother on his father's side. His parents were very involved in his early childhood, teaching he and his siblings how to hunt or track or even execute basic combat moves, though fighting was never something they lingered long on. Larch was also told many legends and stories by all adult members of the skulk and they served only to pique his curiosity. When he was five months old, he slipped during a hunt to carve his own path, and eventually found himself down in the southern portion of the taiga, where he made a den from himself. Larch now resides there, only venturing far when something or someone worth approaching catches his eye.
