puffinswirl is known around the clan for being so fun and unpredictable - its hard to tell what it'll do next, mood switching quickly and always coming up with new things to do everyday. its fun in the sense that it likes to adventure a lot, and usually drags cats on its adventures in the territory or outskirts. it cannot stay in camp for even a day, things are just too boring in camp! it's an honest person, literally nobody is spared from the truth when it comes to puffinswirl, so prepare yourself for possibly getting your feelings hurt. its more of a leader than a follower - it takes the lead in patrols, gives out orders, and doesn't really listen to anyone but itself.
despite the fun outside it shows, puffinswirl is deeply insecure. it has a very hard time accepting compliments and doubts itself a lot - it always wonders if it's a good warrior or if people actually like it - all caused by a bad childhood. it's insecurities cause it to be self destructive, and it has a tendency to destroy any good relationships it has because of those insecurities always eating away at it. it can't really keep friends because of this. despite this, it constantly seeks attention - any attention. bad comments just proves its worries, while good and neutral comments keep it going through the days. to get attention, it's loud and that combined with its honesty, results in having little to no filter. those honest comments? yeah, the whole clan will end up hearing them.
it's a terrible listener, and has a bad habit of interrupting people. unless its something it finds interesting, it doesn't bother to listen.

➵ backstory -
born as a loner named skunk to [mother] and [father], puffinswirl was the forgotten sibling. its older sibling, [sibling], was always the better one, according to its parents. its sibling was smarter, faster, prettier - everything. [sibling] was always complimented and spoiled, while puffinswirl was pushed away. coming out as nonbinary only made its parents push it away even more. this caused it to become insecure, desperate for love and attention from its parents - it would throw itself into dangerous situations and be as loud as possible in hopes its parents would pay attention to it.
it didn't work.
one day, puffinswirl decided it had enough and ran away from home. being a kit, it didn't know how to hunt or defend itself - not surprisingly, it didn't know where it would go, and wandered for days before passing out on the edge of thunderclan territory from exhaustion and hunger. a thunderclan warrior found it and took it to the clan, where it was given the name puffinkit.
