Curltail watched him curl his lip in anger. She flattened her ears to her head and felt her eyes cloud. The molly sprinted away from him to get away.

Curltail looked at him. "I know, but a life without you is a life I wouldn't want to live. Our kits will be taken good care of.", she meowed. The molly didn't want to live her life with depression. She didn't want to be unfair to her kits.

Curltail pressed her nose to his fur and breathed in his scent. She knew she had left her kits behind, but there was no life for her without Badgerfang. She would never be able to move on.
