Sorrow is the Only Thing i Know (open)
a Jet Black she-cat with one white forepaw sat quietly by the thing, the waterfall, that the twolegs had put ten in over the summer. is was iced over now...
her icy blue eyes, were red, and swollen... from all the crying she went through... every night... every day...
"oh, Beautiful Moon goddess... why does this Sadness stay forever in my Heart? why can the only thing i can feel is the pain... of words that shouldn't have hurt but did? why would they hate one they were supposed to love? why did they cast me aside for someone else?" Her Icy blue eyes started to become wet with tears.... she cried so much over the days... she was surprised she had any tears left... she'd cried her whole live it seemed and would be that way till she died.
her heart ached from the loneliness of her life... No-one seemed to like her... no, they all seemed to hate her. she gave her all... her whole heart... to others... and yet the she-cat was always betrayed... now she could only trust herself, and no-one else... they'd only turn on her like the rest... even her family had turned on her... and that was the only thing she had... she still remembered the day he took her 3 sane kits away... to a place where she could not follow... leaving her with that one kit that was truly insane. she knew she should have killed that jack once and for all while her was in her care... but he'd been her baby... her lovely little boy... she hadn't seen the faults till it was to late to excape the darkness that filled him, and his dark heartbeat...
Life would always be this hard, she assumed, as she leaned down to groom out her scarred-up underbelly, torn by small claws that once snuggled by her side.... and her eye was just one more reminder, with the scar, given to her by that fowl brother of hers... at least it hadn't been deep enough to blind her...
