Laurelrain is a stoic tom. He doesn’t show his emotions very much and though he cares deeply, he struggles to vocalize it.
He is lonely. He isn’t a young warrior anymore yet he’s still alone. He is open for love yet can’t seem to find it.
Enter, [feline]. [feline] is an outsider who decides to join Thunderclan and of course begins at the rank of apprentice. Laurelrain is assigned her mentor and training begins!
The actual details will be RPed rather than planned out but they’ll start out as normal acquaintances and eventually grow closer and closer. As [feline] nears their warrior ceremony, Laurel invites them out for a talk at sunset and they both realize they’ve been falling in love.
[feline] doesn’t mind and loves him freely but Laurel isn’t used to love and also feels guilty because he is their mentor and shouldn’t start a relationship with an apprentice or former apprentice. He begins to avoid them and they both become distant.
Then, one day, they are both assigned to a patrol and are set upon by a fox. Laurelrain and [feline] both fight with their clanmates, but [feline] gets thrown to the ground and is targeted by the fox. Laurelrain freaks out and throws himself at it, not wanting [feline] to get hurt, and succeeds in knocking it off course but gets himself thrown into a rock and knocked unconscious.
While he is out, Laurel sees the rest of his life without [feline] and it is miserable. He wakes up to them looking fearfully at him- the fox has been subdued by the others on the patrol. He immediately asks them to be his mate. Their answer is TBRPd!
However their relationship progresses can define how that question is answered and the rest of their lives.
