Default Re: SkyClan Territory

Birds chattered above in the canopy as a certain golden cat slunk through the territory. Having spent the past 2 moons living just outside of Skyclan's new territory, he couldn't help himself, and wanted to see how his old clan had settled. He planned on just sneaking to the camp and climbing a tree to peer into it, if this new cano was anything like their old one. He was following the strongest and most fresh cat scents, hoping one would lead him to where Skyclan now called their camp. Pausing in his detach to take a quick lap from the nearby stream, Lemon's ears perked up as the chatter above became louder. After a moment it quieted down a bit, but it we still loud and noticeable. The thought that was constantly on Lemon's mind was who Grousestar had chosen as his new deputy. Lemon hoped it was a young and faithful cat, one that would listen and learn from Grousestar, who was a senior warrior and experienced in all ways. Even in his short time as leader, Lemon had learned a lot from Grouseflurry, as he had been called then. And the brown tabby had also helped Lemon make many decisions for the clan.

Taking a deep breath of the fresh, clean air, Lemon continued to creep through the territory. He has waded in a stream to hide his scent, and his fur had dried quickly in the hot green-leaf sun, although with how thick his pelt was, it was still damp. His fur wasn't too long, but it was thick. Casting his sharp golden gaze around, Lemon sniffed the air again, switching from the scent he was following to a new one. This one smelled fresher and newer, and it seemed to be leading in a straight direction, as if the cat had purpose and knew where they were going. Lemon just hoped this one led to the camp. And he hoped he didn't run into any of his old clanmates along the way.

@Empress Of Evil
With each new noise that was made, her ears swivelled around attentively and her icy blue gaze would narrow as her head turned in the direction of the noise. Her paws made no sound against the forest floor as she padded through the territory, taking in every detail with her eyes and ears. Midday was approaching and the sun was rising higher and higher with each passing minute. Auroraflame was out in the territory, patrolling the forest by herself. Although she had been out here many times before, she had never really had the chance to slow down and notice every little thing about SkyClan’s territory. Now that she was alone and relaxed, she could do what she wanted to do without having to worry about her clan mates. She had already organised patrols and now she had a few hours of free time before she returned to camp.

The scent of nature’s gifts filled her nostrils as she slowed down and breathed in the air. Nothing calmed her down better than the air of the territory. Somehow, it was different. It calmed her down and made her feel at peace. Everything was fine, there was nothing peculiar going on and there were no strange scents. Auroraflame continued to stroll through the territory, her gaze calm although her claws unsheathed in case something were to unexpectedly attack her. The deputy was always prepared for the worst. No matter where she was, she was always going to be ready for something to attack her. Some might say she’s a bit paranoid. She’s not, she’s just extra careful. That’s Auroraflame for you, organised and cautious.

The ebony feline was about to sit down next to a small stream when suddenly a gust of wind flew past and an unfamiliar scent hit her. It was strange. It didn’t smell like a usual cat scent, it smelt like something mixed with water from a stream. Her eyes widened and her teeth clenched. Narrowing her icy blue orbs, she whipped around and started heading in the direction of the scent. A low growl rumbled from the back of her throat as she padded briskly through the trees. Hopefully it wasn’t another Syndicate cat. She was absolutely sick of seeing them. She had had too many encounters and problems with them in the past few moons and now she was willing to do whatever she had to to avoid seeing one. Honestly, Auroraflame could be quite scary when she was hostile. She was normally the friendly face around camp that everyone liked to talk to, but when she was guarded and about to face trouble, she wasn’t very nice. Her darker side was harsh and she hated having to bring it out. But she would if it meant defending her clan. She just needed to know who she was defending it against. A badger? A fox? A dog? Or a cat? She was going to find out soon, as she could smell the scent becoming stronger and stronger.

Finally, the scent became strong enough for her to tell that she was right next to the enemy, whoever it was. Ducking behind a thick bush, she peered through the leaves and searched for the source of the scent. Her eyes widened curiously as she saw it was a cat. Strangely enough, the inky deputy felt like she knew them. Not wanting to waste another second, she jumped out in front of the cat. The expression on her face was stone cold and unfriendly and her gaze didn’t waver as she stared calmly at the cat. "Who are you and what are you doing on SkyClan territory?” Auroraflame asked, her voice was firm and the authority was clear in it. As she spoke the words, the deputy couldn’t push down the nagging feeling that she knew this cat. She scanned him over and over again until finally, something clicked and an eye raised in realisation. She knew who he was. Most of the cats in SkyClan did.
"L-Lemonstar?”

He changed the topic. Sparrowpaw didn't really care, he wouldn't ask her those annoying and rude questions. It seemed as though he was truly sorry anyway. "Hunt, mostly." Sparrowpaw said the first thing that she thought of, her mind was still pondering his changing the subject, and rude question.

Whenever was Azulpaw obedient? ''Thank you,'' he purred, standing much taller than he did. ''I feel so loved.'' He soaked in her affections, returning them slightly. It was his job to return them, knowing she was such a touchy one. Not that he minded much. Azulpaw liked certain affections. From friendly nuzzle, to the fast heart-beating purrs. His voice had the edge of sarcasm, but other than that? He maintained a steady tone as he was sinking into the life of what his future was making out to be.

Handsome love? Azulpaw tilted his head slightly, staring attentively at Alabasterpaw. What was she up to this time? They just got together, and she was such a needy cat. Clingy, touchy, any of the synonyms that followed along. He certainly didn't know her game, or what part he played in it. He tried to remain sincere--but this was Alabasterpaw. The tricky feline that wanted him dead. Many, many times before. He was guarded around her, and he was crazy enough to cave into her desires. Now, thinking back on it, he regretted even stepping out. All he wanted was time for himself. No one to bother him. Well, he wouldn't had mind the company of Asterpaw or Silverpaw, but the others? He just wanted to sun himself, empty his thoughts, and possibly a nap. Alabasterpaw had ruined his mood. Yet, he could not decipher why he fell so easily into her.

Feeding onto his vulnerability, honestly. Knowing he was quite hurt that he seen Asterpaw cuddling into his old best friend. What was with that? When had everything started to change? Flipped into another reality? The tom remained strong because at this point, everything had already happened. He remained indifferent towards it, keeping his I don't care attitude with a smug expression. Azulpaw flicked his ears, narrowing his eyes slightly. ''Why were you even listening to our conversation?''

No privacy, much? He turned away for a second. Maybe, that wasn't the best way to approach the situation. Yet, he couldn't help it. She was eavesdropping on a conversation that weren't meant for her. It was a one time thing. Asterpaw approached him--when he truly didn't want her company anymore. She had upset him. Yet, she never gave him a reason why. ''Tsk tsk, sweetheart--it didn't involve you.'' He glared at her suddenly, his yellow hues glowing like little suns. At her next sentences, he looked away once more, and was ready to walk away. But, he couldn't. Something about the game Asterpaw was playing. Azulpaw's expression went from challenging to one of submission as he thought about what the white demon had said. Some way, she was telling the truth. Azulpaw took a quick glance towards Bluepaw and Asterpaw, and quickly turned his head back to Alabasterpaw. He gave a hint of a smile. ''She is playful,'' He flicked his tail. ''I wouldn't be surprised if this was all a game to her.'' He stated, almost sadly as he looked down at his paws for a moment.

Azulpaw continued to listen to Alabasterpaw, each word sinking deeply into him. It didn't sound right, yet it was perfect. The great way to describe it. Everything was a game to her. And, when she didn't win it, she would leave. Perhaps, she would drop him. Would he get a sign when it came to such? Azulpaw felt that he already received a sign when she got very defensive over Bluepaw.

Bluepaw.

His ex-best friend.

The tom who wanted him for dead.

She protected, got mad at him for joking around about a tom she was clearly with and who clearly wanted him for dead. The scarred apprentice been through so much. Losing his best friend, going through multiple sorts of pain, losing another good friend, and now this? It was obvious that he didn't have just physical scars any longer. Now, there were emotional scarring as well. Slowly, it would be mental scars--which he wanted to protect his mind. His mind was all that he got, and hadn't fell into the dark abyss yet. Then, the tom lifted his yellow hues to look at Alabasterpaw.

Drop it.
Drop her.

''...It's not that easy.'' Was his simple words. ''I can't just drop her. I do care about her. And, I'm not dropping anyone until they had dropped me first.'' He turned away. All he wanted to do was curl up in a ball, hiding his scarred body. The tom hate that he felt such insecurity when walking through the clearing, and the whispers about his claw wounds, or the many other cuts around his body. It gave him a dangerous look. Therefore a dangerous reputation. Why? What apprentice would still be living when going through bloody battles--physical pain?

On the other hand, upon her next words, Azulpaw flipped his head quickly towards her, almost letting out a small hiss, but managed to hold it in. Though it was not completely directed at her. Just the memories of everything they've been through, and the thought of it being only a game? It made him angry. He felt that they had a connection, something special to forever cherish, but soon he would be a warrior. And, he knew he didn't have to deal with any of them if he didn't want to. It wasn't easy dropping the ones he cared about, but once they dropped him first? What more could he do?

''Why not? Playing is fun. I'll play with her until she's ready to drop me.'' Like you...Alabasterpaw wasn't perfect herself. Azulpaw knew all about her reputation, and he doubt they would last long anyway. Even if it was most likely she would be his first mate. First is the keyword. Azulpaw preferred seconds more than anything at this point. ''Such strong words, love.'' He purred, finding her humorous. It was good to laugh. Not like a maniac. Or, darkly, but that's what he was doing. ''But, you have to admit. Sister like sister, eh? I suppose once she's ready to drop me, she learned from the best, haven't she?'' He twirled himself around her, nuzzling and purring. Obviously, he took note of her insults towards him, yet she had a terrific skill of making them sound like compliments. Azulpaw knew he would have to keep his ears alert when it came to her. When it was Alabasterpaw? She would make anything possible.

What did I miss? Bluepaw's eyes traveled across the territory until they landed on the other two felines. The grey one. The white one. Cuddling together. ''Are you sad about them being together?'' He was thrilled that they were together. His feelings for the white demon were still present, albeit very invisible. Only the slighest bit, but he knew in a flash he would bring Azulpaw down if he dared hurt any of the felines. See, Bluepaw knew about Alabasterpaw's cowardly skill. She wasn't even successful at killing Azulpaw when she had the chance. And, if it was one thing Bluepaw hated...was a cat who didn't complete a job. He would had done it himself, but everything worked out in is favor.

Truthfully...he got the girl, he had the other one, and Azulpaw was hurting more than the grey tom let on. Yup, he had everything he desired. He couldn't speak for everyone else, because everyone else didn't matter. All that mattered was his happiness. And, so far he was definitely happy. Though, his expression stayed straight. He didn't want to appear happy when clearly Asterpaw looked sad. Maybe, going on this walk was a bad idea... His blue eyes stayed locked on the scene in front of them. Watching the grey feline with a murderous stare, before he snapped them away, making them appear mellow as he stared at Asterpaw in the most endearing manner.

Upon her next words, his gaze sharpened to the slightest. With his ears flicking, he wondered why she was even having a conversation at all with the grey feline. Did she forget their compromise? Probably so... he didn't know what to say about it. He did hear Alabasterpaw's ideas. Maybe it would work. He didn't know, but if it meant hurting Asterpaw's feelings? It would give him a good--no, a great reason to gang upon Azulpaw. So, did Asterpaw's feelings matter to him? Only a tad bit. She was a gateway to get to the tom he despised like no other.

''Why were you even talking-'' No, that was not how he should approach this matter. Maybe, it was good that they had argued. Arguing when it came to them--was a good thing. It would destroy their friendship in itself, and Alabasterpaw and himself could watch from the sidelines as the action unfold. The tom quickly gave the side of her face a nuzzle, before offering an innocent smile. ''No need to be sorry. It's not your fault that it had happened that way. We all know Azulpaw could be a jerk,'' The tom chuckled, rolling his eyes. ''You should forgive him though! You know he didn't mean it, he's just angry because I won. He's mad because a tom finally have you--and it's not him.'' Bluepaw spoke. That was true. At least to him, but he figured that their relationship would continue to crumble each time they were friends. At this point, Bluepaw found the plan to appealing. Very, very appealing. With each heartbreak, each falling out, Bluepaw would be there to pick her up, and unknowingly give Azulpaw more scars than the tom needed.

Bluepaw was no fool. He knew that Asterpaw cared much about the tom. After all, if she didn't, wouldn't she be glowing instead of glooming after their little argument? With this plan in his mind, he felt that he won it all. Their relationship would continue to fall. Asterpaw would truly stop caring, and have no reason to protect him whatsoever. Bluepaw would be able to land a few critical scars that would surely kill.

Yes. That day would be the day to celebrate.
"Oh please, love. You and your little ex-friend's conversations are my business. If they weren't, then why do you think I would be listening? You belong to me now. I have everything to worry about, too... you know, because I'm afraid she'll snatch you away again, darling." This was a lie. However could Asterpaw 'snatch away' a cat that Alabasterpaw quite clearly had under her spell now? Asterpaw didn't have that charm, and she was glad that Azulpaw didn't even seem tempted by the blue feline anymore. Good. He did belong to her. Even though his attitude and challenging nature were still intact... too bad there was nothing she could do about that. She probably could have beaten the fight out of him, but he had had enough physical abuse for a while. And besides, she wouldn't want her potential future mate to be scared of her, now would she?

No. That wouldn't do at all. Because eventually, he would stop caring about her - and Alabasterpaw couldn't have that. After all, if she were to lose what she had been working towards so hard and for so long, then what reason would she have to live? It sounded drastic. But hey, that was Alabasterpaw. Dramatic and she resorted to drastic measures quite often. She wasn't the greatest of cats to have as a friend... but that was alright, because Alabasterpaw never minded what others said about her. Truthfully the only thing she cared about was herself. And... unfortunately for Azulpaw, he was now roped into her and her narcisstic views. See, Alabasterpaw hadn't truly cared about anyone in the past few moons. Not since she had gone to be a loner had she cared for Asterpaw or Bluepaw, and as for Azulpaw... well... the feline might think she "loved" him but she didn't.

She would never love anyone. Because Alabasterpaw's heart had been damaged. And her mind was too twisted for her to love anyone... and her cold, shriveled, damaged heart couldn't find it to do so. And, unfortunately, she had torn him away from Asterpaw and Bluepaw had torn her sister away from Azulpaw. Now all that was left to do was rip their tiny little minds to shreds... and she was hoping Bluepaw would pick up on the memo. Otherwise she would have to explain it to the piebald tom and she honestly preferred keeping company with the grey one for the moment being. Once their relationship was established, and his place in it was found, and she trusted him... sure, he could be friends with her. That was, if their relationship wasn't so broken that it could never be fixed. It was her ultimate goal, and Alabasterpaw wasn't sure if she was going to be able to make it at all.

Especially after hearing what he had to say. "Oh, but hasn't she already? I mean... how many times is she going to have to hurt you before you're willing to quit on her? I believe you've already dropped her, too... otherwise, darling, you would be figuring her whole situation out instead of here with me. Not that I'm complaining - merely pointing out facts. Facts are important, wouldn't you agree, Azulpaw?" Her purr was annoying, but light and soft at the same time. It was something that toms would die to hear - or to have directed at them - yet he didn't seem to be as phased by it as Alabasterpaw would have liked. She was a pretty cat! And yet, Azulpaw acted as though she were like anyone else. She had soft, soft fur. And... when she wasn't choking him... her paws were soft. Gentle. Delicate, even. Yet there was a killer just beneath her soft and pretty exterior.

Constantly lurking there. Perhaps, she thought, he was scared to bring that out. "You flatter me, love. Such a sweet boy, aren't you? Lucky, lucky me." Alabasterpaw appreciated his attention, and she soaked it in like a plant soaking up the rays of the sun. Storing it. Keeping it. But, unlike a plant, Alabasterpaw could never get enough attention. Trees could get overheated or overwatered, but Alabasterpaw? She would never have enough of this sweet, sweet affection. And, she did have to admit - he was very good at giving it to her. He wasn't too thrifty with it, giving it to her as though she were the only thing that mattered now. Which Alabasterpaw could appreciate. Now, if that were true... that would make her truly happy. Or so she believed. But again, the feline would never be happy and she would never be satisfied. It just wasn't in her nature for either.

Asterpaw was hurt watching the two of them. Why was Azulpaw giving her all that attention? As though she were a fair princess, delicate and gentle and perfect? It wasn't even like he had said anything against Alabasterpaw, which meant it must be for real. Or had she misinterperated one of his harsh statements? Azulpaw's words were still playing in her head. And she was done. Completely done. All she had wanted to do was play with him, but it had escalated too quickly and... and she had been wrong. That much was obvious. Poor Asterpaw, trying so hard towards something that was never going to happen. Azulpaw couldn't be her friend. No matter how hard she tried. He just wasn't the type of cat that she could hang out with in that manner, because no matter what she did, it seemed they ended up having some kind of a fight. Yep, every time they had met.

Well, every time they had met and had a real conversation, that was. Sure, there had been 'hi, how are you' and boring small-talk conversations like that, but as far as truly hanging out went, it seemed that they always ended up fighting. Why was that? Was it because they both cared? Was it because they were playing and misinterperted statements went a long ways towards arguments? Either way, Asterpaw wished she could apologize. Just say that she was sorry and they could catch up from where they left off. But Asterpaw knew that Bluepaw and Alabasterpaw would never allow that to happen. Someone was going to get hurt. Too bad it was never her sister. It was never the piebald tom. It was always Azulpaw... and she'd come pretty close a few times. Why couldn't Alabasterpaw have died as a loner? It was a harsh thought, but one that Asterpaw couldn't stop herself from having.

Perhaps these problems wouldn't exist then. Maybe Bluepaw would go back to being a nice cat. The old Bluepaw wouldn't have nipped her like that. What had that been about, anyways? She wished Azulpaw hadn't stood up for her, either. He could've gotten hurt. And she had never gotten to thank him for real, which hurt too. He probably thought she didn't care. But she did! She cared a lot. If only she'd remarked on the stupidity of that when she had been fighting with him, maybe it would've come up on it's own. Maybe there was a way to voice it as a more insulting comment. Except Asterpaw wasn't an expert when it came to that field. She was used to being nice and polite and saying thank you... always. She had always been that way. Too bad now she wouldn't be allowed to. Would Bluepaw let her speak to Azulpaw without fighting, if she promised to be good about it? His question drew her out of her thoughts and she sighed, her tail flicking lightly.

"You want the truth, Bluepaw? Because yeah. Yeah, it kind of... it hurts a little." She sighed, her tail continuing to flick lightly. It did hurt. A lot, actually, but she didn't want to give him the full control of the truth over her. But, a part of her felt as though she should. He had asked! Asterpaw didn't have control over her feelings. Listening to the piebald feline speak, Asterpaw felt as though she could have lashed out at everyone right then. How dare he! How dare he speak to her as though she were an object. The words he had used were nowhere near as infuriating as the way he was using them. On their own, it wasn't a big deal. If he had said it in a different tone, even if he had been a different cat, perhaps Asterpaw wouldn't have minded. But there was something about that little talk coming from Bluepaw that made her blood boil. Not that she could do anything.

She was pleasant, sweet natured little Asterpaw. The obedient sidekick for Bluepaw's grandness. "Um, I'm pretty sure he's just a jerk. I seriously doubt he's mad that - that someone has me and it isn't him. And you didn't win. This isn't a win or lose situation, okay?" Her voice was frustrated before she remembered what he had said earlier. You agree with me, okay? He had bitten her then. And so, Asterpaw's ears suddenly flicked back in surprise and worry and her hues became submissive. Her expression changed and a more nervous one replaced it as she shifted her weight lightly, nuzzling into him with an apologetic expression. Because she feared for her life. And she was hurt by the grey feline. Azulpaw was hurting her. Whether he knew it or not, every time she saw him with Alabasterpaw it stung. Burned. Made her ready to look away, walk away, but she couldn't. "Th-then again, maybe... maybe you're right. Maybe he is just mad about that." It was something she would have liked to believe. But... considering she didn't have a reason as to why, she was pretty sure it was just a lie.

Since never, that was when. The poor tom had crushed on enough she cats to know all about heartbreak and disappointing things like that... it was almost sad how much he knew about them. Part of Foxpaw wished that he would just stay away from she cats, and another part of him wanted more. There was something about being rejected or having crushes that made him feel good. Like he was alive again. It was nice. Oh, but she had also said she liked it when cats were themselves... if you're yourself, she's going to hate you. Who wants an insecure, goofy little fluffball for a friend, let alone an interest? His mind seemed to laugh at him.

It was constantly taunting him. He was his own worst enemy. A shame, really, because Foxpaw had potential to be a good cat. At her yowl to GO, he chased after Redpaw, moving past the tree she was climbing onto another one. The tom's green hues were focused on the tree and he struggled not to look at how Redpaw was doing. Because he knew that once he looked over it was going to be hard to look back. But, it wasn't his fault she was pretty! It wasn't her fault either! It was nobody's fault, it was just... luck. Yeah, just luck that she was a pretty she cat and he was himself. Handsome and talented. She's going to laugh when you fail. Again his mind tormented him, but the young tom gritted his teeth and began to climb. Upwards and onwards he went, trying to make it to the top as quickly as possible. His focus was solely on that and impressing her, that was all Foxpaw wanted to do.

here you go @RedHead

Azulpaw still didn't see where she was coming from. Why she had to know, or what her business to know about it anyway. He felt that he was only being annoying by doing such a thing. It wasn't like he eavesdropping on Alabasterpaw and Bluepaw's conversation. Now, that was something he knew he should had been doing, yet he wasn't very interested in doing things like that. Alabasterpaw was pretty much a sneaky cat, and as they grew older, perhaps many of the toms would figure Azulpaw was crazy agreeing to become the mate of she cat that was known around Skyclan. Not in a bad way--well, perhaps a bad way. If flirting and heartbreak earned you a bad reputation that is.

Ex-friend? Azulpaw felt his whiskers quivering. He wanted to ask when did we agree on that?, but maybe that's exactly what is was about. Maybe Asterpaw became his ex-friend without him even noticing it. No, no, no. Now he felt that he was panicking. If she became his best friend, then he felt that he regretted his last words to her. As if she were...dead. His last words that he would ever say to her. His yellow gaze blinked up at Alabasterpaw. He analyzed her words, his ears flicking. Yup, because I'm an object instead of my own cat. What am I even doing here? Though, he knew better than to become too aggressive with her. So, he simply continued to lightly rub himself against her. ''You have nothing to worry about.'' He said, briskly. His words dry, and his eyes dull. The fact that Alabasterpaw thought he belonged to her? Any other male would find themselves swooning, but Azulpaw? He seen her true colors, and that would always be in his mind of how truly sinister she could be. A part of him could never accept her fully, because he would always find himself guarded at her touch. ''Pretty sure no one can snatch me away. What do I look like? A moss ball?'' He rolled his eyes, and lashed his tail to the side for a moment. He was truly irritated at this point. From a distance he could see Bluepaw and Asterpaw talking--that was the least of his problems.

Azulpaw knew it wasn't his problem at all, but he had heard Asterpaw loony talk to herself. He knew all about the bite Bluepaw provided her. He wanted to address it, but it was at the wrong time. Everything was at the wrong time. Did they all travel to another reality of some sort? Azulpaw, at this point, preferred to never have met the two felines in his life. He believed it was an honest mistake, and if he had the power to turn back time, that's where he would go. Back to the training plateau, and force Bluepaw to walk away from the pretty feline; Alabasterpaw. But, he didn't have the power, and so he embraced that he had made it this far. Cuts, bruises, scars designing his body around, somewhat giving him a scary appearance, yet the tom was still there. Everything was still there about him, and that was great.

At her words, Azulpaw let out an inaudible sigh. Did she ever know how to shut up? He shot her a quick look, a smirk forming on his face, as he slightly tilted his head up to look at the sky. Did he actually drop Asterpaw? The tom didn't feel that he did. In fact, he only said some hurtful words--yet, that was because he was truly angry...for absolutely no reason. He figured it was up to Asterpaw. She was the one to have walked away. The one to watch him crumble more than others. She practically knew him more than his ex-best friend. ''Don't play that facts card on me, love.'' Was his first words, but he had refused to look at her, so she wouldn't take note of his grim expression. Then, he had slowly turned to her, giving a lick at his jaws. He felt one of his cuts, almost feeling that he could taste the old blood. ''You want to know some real facts? How about you just stay out of it. You won. That is a fact. Why keep hounding me down about this whole Asterpaw situation? I'm not going to get caught up in her and Bluepaw's relationship. I hope they're happy though! So, we all can be happy!'' He let out a deep breath, already tired and exhausted. Though he couldn't find a way to lie to Alabasterpaw so he can be alone. She was quite annoying. Not trusting him, pushing him to do stuff that he wasn't ready to, and planning out his entire future without so much as a word to him. The tom was exhausted. I need a nap...and to get away from these delusional felines. Upon that thought, a feeling in him felt that he needed to get Asterpaw alone. So, that they could have a real conversation. Probably when the moon was high up, and the two malicious beings were sleeping in for the night. That way, he was sure he could whisk her away for a little bit, and get some more info on whatever is happening right now. Additionally to being exhausted, he was confused.

At least the one thing that Azulpaw knew was that he certainly had his touch. Even if it was an unwilling touch he didn't want to do, he had soaked in the attention Alabasterpaw was giving him. It was nice...gentle...soft. And, he adored the soft brushing of her pelt against his own. And, he would admit that. ''Of course, darling. You are as lucky as I am.'' He didn't even notice that he said such words, but it was too late to bring them back. After all, he was an honest tom. He did like this touch. Probably too much than he liked to admit.

''Do you prefer going back with them...or, being alone?''
Bluepaw asked as he got to his paws and flicked his tail. He could sense there was something wrong with his beloved, and all he wished he to be was comfortable. He didn't want her to think he didn't care about how she felt. That much he didn't care about how she felt, but he wanted to make her feel that she was the only thing that mattered at the moment. After all, the poor she cat been through so much. With her sister, with the battle, and now the decreasing friendship she had with...Azulpaw. Yet, Bluepaw had stayed the same old, same old. Using his innocence to interlock his victims, giving them a little torture. The tom had anger issues. He loved to release them on most. Anyone near him. It would be a shame if Asterpaw had found herself on that side of him. Yet, he figured that she had learned her lesson when it came to that bite on her ear.

It wasn't that hard of a bite. He didn't want to hurt her. Or, for her to be scared...wait, probably that's what he, indeed, wanted. For her to know he was in charge. That sounded like a relationship he could handle. Of course, the tom would spoil her in anything she wanted. She just needed to be trained to perfect that role.

Bluepaw seen the looks. The movement. The affections that Azulpaw and Alabasterpaw was sharing. It made him laugh. It was funny. One of them would be hurt in no time. If he couldn't keep Alabasterpaw, why would Azulpaw stand a chance of keeping the feline? That relationship was doomed from the start. Bluepaw knew, as well as many of her other victims that Alabasterpaw would get tired. And, as soon as she did, she would throw you aside without any feelings attached. You would end up with a broken heart, and she would end up with a new victim. Bluepaw felt that she was someone that couldn't be tamed. Not as easily as sweet little Asterpaw, who was clearly the gem and real prize of the entire family. Though, he also knew it wouldn't be that much of a challenge for Alabasterpaw to be tamed. All she needed was the right tom to put her in her place. Azulpaw was definitely not that type of tom to do it.

The piebald feline allowed her to do as she pleased. He had other matters to worry about. Other matters to fix. It couldn't be that hard if they started now. She would learn everything he taught her. Always agree with him, listen to his orders, and just be that pretty she cat that is always by his side. Indeed, he saw her as a very beautiful she cat. No ones seconds, no one else had her. He didn't even bother counting Azulpaw. With the many fights they had, they might as well stop seeing each other altogether. Yet, you fight with the one you care about most, which also annoyed him.

Upon her words, Bluepaw could see where she was coming from. At least she kept from lying to me...he tilted his head for a second, and nodded. His gaze was solely on the white and grey felines. ''What type of hurt are you exactly feeling when it comes to them?'' He landed his striking blue gaze back on her. What exactly did she see in that rubbish grey maggot? He looked like a screwed up puppet. Whenever he looked at them being together, he rolls his eyes. Alabasterpaw wasn't loyal enough to stay in one spot, and Azulpaw was...well, Azulpaw. Weak. Was there more to be said? Their relationship was a laughing matter, and he knew it wouldn't even last another moon.

At her next words, the piebald tom snorted. Azulpaw was a complete jerk, wasn't he? But, then as she continued to talk, he began to disagree with her. Had he not won? What was she talking about? His eyes began to become small slits as he stared at her words--but then, she quickly changed, which caught him off guard. He was pretty sure he was about to take another nip at her, or ruin her feelings with words of his own. Instead, he affectionately brought his tail over her head. ''You learn quickly.'' Bluepaw wanted her to be honest with him, yet submissive to him. He didn't want to hurt her, all he wished to do was love her. So, he leaned into her, and gave her a soft nuzzle. Obviously, she had more things to learn, and within time he would be willing to teach her everything she needed to know.

@BluBunny

A small lithe ebony feline laid her belly against the ground as she watched a critter hopping in front of her. She was waiting for the right moment to strike. And, this moment was not the right one. As the bird hopped along, she gave a few gentle licks to her chest fur. She was well hidden within the brambles. Her snout continued to take in the scent of the nearby creature. She would had loved to have that meal to herself, but she preferred feeding her clan first. And, then maybe, if her friend Mousefur wasn't busy, perhaps they could share a meal.

Cloudriver had ate less nowadays. She didn't know why food was unappealing to her, but she was always glad to give her leftovers to her friend, who seemed to never be full. Cloudriver had to suppress a laugh for she would scare her prey away. Then, no food for the clan. Food was vital, yet it was scarce. She wouldn't dare lose her chance now.

At the moment, she just didn't want to...eat. Was it some type of depression issue? Like missing her brother? Or...was it something else? The she cat haven't been doing much lately. Probably roaming around the lands, hunting, sleeping--anything of that sort. Cloudriver shook her head, throwing it up to look up at the sky once before she let out a deep sigh. ''Focus Cloud. Focus.'' She scolded herself lightly before bringing her head down, and staring at the critter once more. She badly wanted to hunt, but for some odd reason she simply observed its movement. She couldn't bring herself to make the kill.

Foxpaw was frustrated that, currently, Redpaw was winning the competition. His green hues sparked with determination and he continued onwards, not even thinking about the fact that it could be dangerous. He was thinking more along the lines of I need to win this. Need to show off. Have to be the best. Because otherwise, how would anyone like him? No one liked a losing cat. And cats liked Foxpaw, because he won... that was the only reason. Foxpaw couldn't think of a time he had lost and ended up friends with that cat. Yes, winning was pretty much what the tom based his entire self-worth on. Lost in his own thoughts, Foxpaw just barely heard Redpaw's yowl - but at that point, it was too late. "Did you say something, Redp-" The ginger feline's voice was cut off as the branch hit him in the chest... luckily not hard enough to cause any serious damage, but hard enough to make him fall.

The tom twisted in the air, struggling to grab hold of something - anything - and managed to sink his claws ino the tree bark. Slippery though it was, Foxpaw was stronger then he appeared and was able to hang on. Breathing a sigh of relief, the ginger tom realized he wasn't that far from the ground and flushed with embarassment. Simply letting go, he fell the few extra feet - low enough that he wasn't hurt - and took a couple of shaky steps. He'd hit a couple of branches on the way down, hard enough to cause bruising... but as far as major injuries were concerned, Foxpaw didn't believe that he had any. "Well, I think we should declare the one with the best landing the winner," Foxpaw mewed in an attempt to restore his damaged pride. At the moment he was pretty shaken up. Physically and mentally, so his voice shook a little as he spoke. At least his handsome appearance hadn't been altered.

That would be a true disaster. Foxpaw glanced up at Redpaw, watching her with his head cocked to the side. "You coming on down, beautiful, or should I rescue you from up there?" He asked with a semi-charming grin. Foxpaw considered himself to be quite charming... that was a matter of opinion, and while he might be good-looking to an extent, perhaps he wasn't quite as handsome as he thought.

Alabasterpaw was no fool - she knew that when she acted that way, no one liked it. Especially not him. She was frustrated that he had stayed up there just a little longer and hadn't come down right away. She nuzzled up against him, brushed herself all over him, and gave the side of his face a tender lick. It felt odd not to be angry with him, but hey! She was getting what she wanted. And she had taken what he wanted away. No more competition, no more lies, no more secrets. Just happiness and attention for her. As far as Azulpaw went... once he was no longer shiny and new and interesting, she would discard him as though he meant absolutely nothing to her.

Yes, even when in love Alabasterpaw still had ideas like that. "Now that you're here, my handsome love - let me ask you something." Alabasterpaw smiled, before bringing her maw up close to his ear. From a distance it might look sweet, but her mind was boiling with rage once more at being about to ask him why he'd been so nice to her beloved sister at the end of their conversation. Why did he care? What was his game? "Darling, why did you change your tune so near the end of your little argument? Apologizing to her - tsk tsk, sweetheart. Do you like the game she's playing with you? She's just playing a game. You know Asterpaw, everything's a game with her - and I'm afraid this time you're getting involved in something that you really shouldn't. Now here's my advice to you, darling... drop it. Drop her. Right here and now." Her voice became dead serious.

"Or, you could go chase after her. Tell her you're sorry. Make up with her so that she can reel you back in, lying, playing her game with you. And here I thought you were smart, Azulpaw. So prove it. Make up your mind whether you're okay for her to play with you... or whether you're ready to drop everything for good. I'll be here waiting either way, because I'll support you. And I'll take you no matter how weak and worthless you are."
It was as though he wasn't even there. She was speaking about him like he was an object. She would take him. She would support him. What was this game Alabasterpaw was playing? It was even more confusing then Asterpaw's. See, she really believed the words she had told him. That was the sick, twisted way of the feline. This was why it was hard to resist her. If she believed what she said? Everyone else would too.

It was near-to impossible to say something rude to Alabasterpaw and then get away with it. Everything Azulpaw had said to her? He was paying for it now. She'd found a way to get her revenge because apparently, physical abuse just wasn't enough anymore. But why? Why hadn't he broken, how had he found the strength to fight back in their last battle?... what had Asterpaw told him? The white feline wasn't sure. And she still hadn't gotten to explain things to Bluepaw. She still hadn't explained her plan to him, but nevermind. He would see. And once she twisted Azulpaw's mind around, perhaps there was a way to use him as well. To break himself and her. Until they were both nothing but shadows of what they had been. Obedient slaves, there to serve her and Bluepaw. It was funny to think that Azulpaw might actually act like an obedient cat for once to her.

So far things were not going according to plan... not as much as she had planned. But hey, these things took time! Love was a process. A process that Alabasterpaw was going to dominate, smash, and then fix for her own benefits... for good. Alabasterpaw was close to being a warrior. Just a little longer, and then Azulpaw would be her mate. Asterpaw would be Bluepaw's. And no more feelings would arise.

Azulpaw's hurtful words were still ringing in Asterpaw's head. Still playing back over and over again, bothering her, annoying her to the brink where she was almost ready to go and slap him down. Did it matter anymore? Did her feelings have any effect on the tom anymore? Did she... did Asterpaw care about him anymore? What a silly thought. Of course she didn't! She didn't have to! She wasn't supposed to care! She had to... pretend that she didn't. Hope that Bluepaw wouldn't pick up on the fact that she did, she really did. Although facts were facts, and she was honestly pretty sure that the piebald feline had picked up on that already. Maybe he knew. Maybe he didn't. Either way, it wasn't going to matter anymore. Was she with Azulpaw? No. She was with Bluepaw. And Azulpaw was with Alabasterpaw. A twisted circle indeed, with knots and miniature circles, and everything else confusing.

Asterpaw didn't know whether she felt safe or not. At Bluepaw's words, she shook her head. She would not cry. She was strong. She was stronger then she thought, or she never would have been able to get through all of this trauma. It was a lot. Of course, Asterpaw already knew Azulpaw was strong. A lot stronger then Bluepaw... perhaps not in the fighting arena, but outside of it, he definitely was. Much more then he thought. The confidence she had tried to instill in him had started seeping into herself over the past couple of moons. And now it was slowly beginning to leave. She was still strong. She still told herself that as often as she could. "I'm strong. I'm stronger then I look. I'm stronger then I feel. I'm strong." Over and over again Asterpaw muttered this under her breath, quietly enough for her to have been considered thinking, not even saying it.

Once she had the courage to speak, Asterpaw sighed and turned her grey-green hues on Bluepaw. "Alabasterpaw wasn't over there, I didn't -" Her voice was cut off as she saw the white feline and the grey one cuddling in the most disgusting manner. Fine. If that's how it was? Fine. There was nothing left for her to do. Her only source of comfort was Bluepaw at this point, although she wouldn't let go of what he had done. What she had witnessed. What she knew him to be capable of. What he had been - or was still - a part of. What he might never lose sight of either. She wouldn't let herself let go of that, but she was going to have to keep her speech and thoughts about it on the down-low. Who knew what that sneaky white devil was capable of... and what she might report back to Bluepaw? Or, what he was capable of himself? For all she knew they could read thoughts.

It was crazy. Unheard of. But Asterpaw was hurt, and scared, and lost, and in this state it was practically already implanted into her mind and now she was thinking of it again. "I didn't see her." Her voice quieted as she glanced over again, wondering how much of the conversation Alabasterpaw had heard. All of it? Some of it? Most of it? Who knew. It didn't matter anymore to Asterpaw, and she wished that Bluepaw would stop fussing over her as though she were a kit. But at the same time the attention and comfort felt good. It was needed. It was very much needed, and Bluepaw was the only cat willing to give it to her at the moment. His question made her hues snap and her body tense almost automatically. "Azulpaw never did anything to me. We just - had an argument, I was... I was asking about Alabasterpaw, and then talking about you, and it just escalated before I knew it and I'm sorry." Asterpaw mewed with a sigh.

She was sorry. Sorry that she had gotten herself into this. Sorry that there was nothing to be done about it. Perhaps it was more of self-pity then truly being sorry, but hey - at least there was some sliver of worry for her previous friend. Were she and Azulpaw still friends? Were they enemies? Were they just no longer in communication with each other? One thing was for certain, and this was the only thing Asterpaw knew now... there was no going back from the life she had chosen.

"All hail Drizzybooshard, the fairest of all the she cats in SkyClan!" Blazingcomet's hues twinkled playfully as he spoke, lowering his head in mock respect to the feline. This was fun. This was one of the best times he had had in a while. And Blazingcomet was enjoying it a lot more then he should. A lot more then was healthy... a lot more then the orange tom found to be professional. And yes, Blazingcomet considered himself to be professional at flirting! He'd been doing it for moons! Broken she cats' hearts before! There had only been a few times when Blazingcomet had been unsucessful. Those times? They were in the past. Drizzleshard was quite obviously the future here. And even if he was wrong again, which Blazingcomet was quite certain that he wasn't, things were going to be okay. The tom laughed as Drizzleshard leapt at him, which was followed by a yelp as he felt himself hit the ground. Not painfully, just somewhat embarassingly.

At least the only one there to witness it was her. The orange tom gently tried to push her off, his twisted paw somewhat more awkwardly then the other, but it worked out okay anyways. The paw didn't even bother him anymore. He could function normally... thanks to some determination and a helpful medicine cat. Stormlight had indeed been helpful. Too bad the feline was gone now, not that Blazingcomet had any ill thoughts towards Ebonyfrost. In all honesty, she seemed pretty nice! Certainly the type of cat that he would hang out with. The tom didn't mind at all. "So, beautiful - I'll see you here tomorrow night, right? I mean... will you let me take you out again, I guess is what I'm trying to ask." Blazingcomet held his breath. He was going to do this. She was going to say yes and the game would be up! So far, everything appeared to be going fine. Once he had her heart and he got bored of her? Game over... for their friendship and relationship.
Drizzleshard smiled. "That's how you address a queen, fair knight," she responded in her most sophisticated, serious voice, unable to hold it for long before collapsing into laughter. This was fun. More fun than she usually had flirting, and this felt like it was going somewhere. Had you asked her just an hour ago what she thought Blazingcomet was going to do with their relationship, she would have easily said that she wasn't going to let it get that far because he was the type of cat to date and dump her just for fun. Although the silver feline knew that this was still the type of cat he was, she felt different about it, now. No way would Blazingcomet go to all this work just to dump her, right? Yeah, that wasn't happening. This relationship was a sprouting seed of a mighty tree, and nothing could cut it down.
The slender she-cat pulled away from Blazingcomet's orange frame as he fell, allowing him to stand up. She would have offered him help, too, but didn't want to injure his pride, and her help would, without a doubt, do that. So instead she just stood back and watched, noticing how he stood up to avoid using his twisted paw. Once the orange tom sat up, he spoke, and Drizzleshard hid her reaction to his words. Inwardly, she was so excited, already- though sad that they had to part now. Was this love? It didn't really matter, not at this exact second. The silver she-cat knew that she had to keep this interesting, keep Blazingcomet on his toes, so instead of letting out what was inside her, she smiled mysteriously, her indigo eyes flashing. "We'll see, now won't we?" she asked flirtatiously, flicking her tail.
