Dawnsong opened her other eye, staring at Violetkit. "I... I was brave.... because I.... I owe... my clan that....." She let out a moan of pain. The blood was gushing out faster now. If she didn't get help soon, Dawnsong would be headed to Starclan. "You... can..be brave... to.." She let out another moan of pain. Her normally hazel fur was stained red with blood, her's and the coyote's.

"Dawnsong!" a calico fled into the scene to find cats in need of help. And this was a pitiful one. "Are you going to talk your way into Starclan?! Less lip flapping and fight for your life," he growled. Quickly taking action he helped the she-cat to at least stand on her four paws, letting her place all the weight against his body so they can walk toward the river. "Violetkit, are you okay to walk?" not minding to carry the kit. Warblerpaw just wanted to get out of this hell hole along side with his clanmates. Alive.

Violetkit squirmed out of the warrior's grip and pushed herself against Dawnsong's neck.
"I'M FINE," she hissed, "but she isn't! She needs help! She defeated a coyote all by herself!" She motioned to the alpha coyote with her tail. "PLEASE. GET. HELP."

Dawnsong closed her eyes again, her tears rolling down her cheeks. "I barely wounded that coyote*," she whispered, blood pouring down her body. "Why would anycat want me to stay?"

Looking over at brindlejaw, still dangling in palehearts maw like deerkit. She looked up at the warrior " we gonna follow brindlejaw?" she mewed. Seeing the coyotes being occupied by the other warriors still didn't help her anxiety .

Coyotesnarl fell into step beside Warblerpaw, Lynxkit still dangling in his jaws. “Mm hand me the kit” he muttered through the small kittens fur. He was surprised Dawnsong wasn’t dead... in fact if she didn’t pull her act together soon enough he was tempted to make sure of it. He reached forward parting his jaws slightly to nip the scruff of the small kitten- he didn’t have time to ask and was quick about his work ensuring, despite discomfort, that both kittens were secured in his jaw before he left Warblerpaw to tend to Dawnsong and her pitiful display. “Hold on you too!” he mumbled feeling his sides and chest ache with exhaustion.

Violetkit leaped out of the tom's mouth and snggled back by Dawnsong. She shook her head at the she-cat.
"You did more than most cats did, Dawnsong." she whispered. Then she turned to the calico warrior. "Please. Get. Help." she pleaded. "I can't stand watching her die. And please, don't make me leace her. if she dies, I want to be with her."

(wow she's being grown up XD)
(Please let Violetkit stay with Dawnsong! She doesn't know how much Dawnsong is really hurt, so she thinks she has to stay with her.)

Maybe once this was all over, Foxpudge could swing by the area for a snack. The coyotes seemed relentless in their assault, eager to feast on flesh-- and he wasn't surprised their attempts to fight back seemed to be in vain. His own coyote adversary was not thwarted by his attempts to fight it. Every scratch he gave it, every bite he managed to sneak in-- only seemed to anger the feral creature more, and after receiving several bites of his own and losing a chunk of his shoulder, he made the decision to retreat and try to regroup.

"Dawnsong," he growled as he approached the injured warrior, the kit, and the apprentice. "Can you stand?" This entire thing seemed overly dramatic in the middle of a battlefield, and he didn't have time for her act. "Warblerpaw, get Violetkit out of here. You can carry her, you know where the river is-- go."

Foxpudge could carry Dawnsong if necessary, but he wanted the younger duo to get to safety. If anyone were to die tonight, it shouldn't be them.
