He shut the door, the lock clicking as he did, leading Fuego down the hall to the stairs, beckoning Casper to follow him, "Elevators make her nervous," He said before starting down the steps. As much as he hated taking the steps, he hated making Fuego upset more, so he would deal with the many, many flights of stairs as long as Fuego was okay.

Ky would never say it aloud, but he was somewhat disappointed that Casper hadn't taken his hand. He would have taken Casper's, but felt it would be an awkward motion. The two were basically married at this point, everything they'd done since they met had a certain domestic tang to it, not that Kyran was complaining.

Casper hummed in response, following Kyran down the stairs. It felt weird leaving his apartment. He didnt know why, maybe it was because he just spent the past 24 hours with a guy and he knew that he was going to be leaving him soon. he shugged it off, he didnt want to think about that. He didnt want to think about the long drive home he was going to have in an empty car, he didnt want to think about how his bed, who was the same size as Kyrans, was going to be empty. He didnt want to think about it so he kept walking. In the mindset of knowing he was going to leave him soon, Casper finally managed to muster up the courage to hold Kyrans hand and letting his fingers slip between Kys easily.

He shook his head, he barely knew Casper, they were just getting to be friends, there was no reason for him to be upset Casper was leaving. Before he knew it, his feet it linoleum and they were heading out the door.

Now that he was taking Fuego out, he'd usually put her in a sidecar on his motorcycle, but that would be sort of an uncomfortable ride for Casper. He didn't use it much, but he had a car. A small van for a part of four, with a sort of iridescent paint that looked black, but when put in the right light gave it a reddish purple shine. He went out to the parking lot, going to a different remote in his keyring and unlocking it. It chirped, and he opened the back door for Fuego, who got in enthusiastically.

He looked behind him for a second as they walked out the door. He didnt feel as bad though. They were friends now, right? He looked down at their hands. Friends. Right. He figured theyd exchange numbers or something before they parted to stay intouch and all. Seeing the van a cocked up an eyebrow,"I like your mom van." he giggled. He wouldnt take Kyran as the van type. The dude had a badass motorcycle and all but he wasnt one to judge. He only let go of Kyrans hand (reluctantly) to get in the passenger side of the car.

He retorted, with a playful glare, his annoyed face melting into another genuine smile as he shut the door and pulled down the buckle, turning the key in the ignition and trying to remember exactly how a car worked, it sure as hell wasn't like a motorcycle. Of course, Kyran knew how to drive a car, it had only been a while. He usually took his motorcycle everywhere, it was always faster, and he was the 'Live Fast, Live Free' kind of guy. Cars didn't suit him. He turned and carefully pulled out of the parking lot and headed toward the Villas for Carmen's place.

Casper was used to this more compared to Kyrans motorcycle though he couldnt complain as the rides were enjoyable. Looking out the window he stared at the sky once more. It was still early morning, not to bright in the sky and it was cool in the air. His phone buzzed, pulling it out of his bag he scrolled and found Carmens name. 'hey dude, on your way?' this talk mustve been important if she was persistent on him coming over still, 'Yeah, Kyrans driving me there. Mind if he joins us?' Casper didnt think the sentence sounded weird until the little grey bubbles of Carmen typing lasted a long while. Oh right. That would indicate that he spent the night with Kyran, and wasnt even driving his own car. The bubbles simply stopped and he read the screen, 'yeah youre boyfriend can join us' Caspers breath hitched as he choked on his spit once more, coughing for a long moment. He didnt answer back and setting his phone on his lap. he felt the buzzing of someone calling, picking it up he realized it was Carmen. Pft. he knew if he picked up it would most likely be a game of 20 questions about him and Kyran and he wasnt in the mood, seeing as he nearly just died choking. He denied the call and turned his phone off, putting it back in his pocket.

Kyran gave him a concerned side-glance, "You okay?" He asked, turning off into the part of town that turned from high rise glamour to a quieter, cheaper neighbourhood. If you asked Ky, he enjoyed it here more than his new place, but it was easier to make money there. He sort of missed the Villas. It was always quiet, and there were always friends to make. He was a charmer when he was younger, he made friends with literally anyone. Even the kids who tried to pick on him. He supposed that attribute stuck.

"So, where does Señora Carmen live?" He asked, slowing down and stopping on a side of the road. Although the road was quiet, he still didn't want anyone to be annoyed by him parking in the middle of the road for a moment.

He tucked a stray curl behind his ear and nodded,"Y-yeah Im fine." Carmens words lingered in his thoughts. Boyfriend? pft. Casper wasnt even sure he liked him that way. Well. he did enjoy holding his hand. and sleeping in the same bed. and how close his face was on the cliff. oh and he also liked how his breath felt across his lips. yeah. he didnt like him like that. totally. just in a friend way. right. He looked out the front window of where they were. It was a bit classed down compared to where Kyran lived but he didnt mind. "Down farther and turn a right at the stop sign. You'll see the apartment complex in no time."

With a hum and a nod, Kyran started driving again, taking a turn to the right and seeing a scarily familiar apartment building. Right. His cousins lived there. And if he knew his cousins, they were probably still there. He only hoped they wouldn't see him and bother him. As much as he loved his family, they could be a bit much. And they also assumed every guy that didn't keep a foot of distance between him and themselves was his boyfriend, and if they say him holding hands with one of the cute ones... let's just say he'd never hear the end of it. He slowed to a stop, opening the door and sliding out of the car, squinting up at the small apartment building. Yep, scarily familiar. He was practically a kid again.

Kyran opened the back door, looking at Casper from the back seat, "Vamos, amigo," He said smoothly, grabbing Fuego's leash and carefully letting her out of the car.

It didnt have an inside section like Kyrans place, having outdoor metal stairs that creaked when you walked up to another floor. A solid black cat sat outside in the middle of the side walk by the building, green eyes eyes boring into Casper as he basked in the early sun. Casper shut the car door and walked up to the familiar cat, petting him and picking him up. Pets were allowed to visit but you couldnt own one here but that didnt stop Carmen from sneaking Ghost in here. The cat rubbed against Caspers face purring, but stopped and climbed further up his shoulders once seeing the polar bear of a dog. This time Casper held his hand out to lead Kyran the way.

The neighbourhood was even familiar to Fuego, being her home when she was a puppy. She seemed glad to see it, letting out a few cheerful barks. Kyran smiled, giving her a few head rubs before following Casper into the old apartment building, left exactly as it had been, if not in better shape. Fuego stopped to sniff the cat at the door, who seemingly returned the sniffs in the same friendly manner before Ky tugged on her leash, snapping his fingers and commanding something in Spanish, Fuego followed into the building obediently. It was much, much different than Kyran's, but so comfortably familiar. He only hoped Fuego wouldn't catch his cousin's attention.

Seeing the offered hand, he smiled and took it, letting Casper lead him on, although he was sure he still knew his way around the place.
