Seeing Monarch’s confusion at the word Dada/dad, Dream walked over and mewed, “ DADA!” as if it explained everything. All the while she had a bright smile on her face, because even though she didn’t really know what “dada” meant she knew it was a good(albeit formerly missing)word!

Monarch nodded a little, as in starting to get what it meant. "Ohh! So tat is our dada?" She mewed, looking back up at her momma, as in wanting to know if that was true.

Dream had immediately liked “Dada” so when he leaned down to lick her she let him. Why wouldn’t she? He was nice, and her fierce momma liked him, and Paprika seemed to recognize him, so when her sister and mom greeted him Dream did the same even though she didn’t remember him. In truth Dream had just followed Paprika’s example as she commonly did, she had no idea who this Dada was, but Paprika liked him! So she did too!

When Monarch looked up at Ray to clarify that Cane was their “Dada”, Ray gave her kitten a gentle smile and mewed, “ Yes he’s your Dada, say hi to him,”.

Nala padded onto the territory. She hadn’t ment to stumble onto the family she just was looking for a group of cats that she could get a cat to lie about and Call the leader horrible and maybe her cats would accept the idea of fighting more. Because right now they hated the idea.
