Mahina

After speaking with the molly in her home, she noticed that Percy had awoken and sat outside. She hoped that the ointment had dried so the wounds wouldn't reopen. She slowly padded outside and sat next to him. She sat in silence for a few moments before facing him.

'' Are you doing alright? ''

Her eyes widened, then smiled warmly at Darcie.

'' Thank you so much, Darcie! You are welcome back any time. Remember that, okay? ''

She'd shift the flower crown on her head then nuzzled the side of the molly's face. She was extremely happy that she was able to make this cat feel safe.

She smiled, and stood up. She shook out her fur and said, "I can completely decorate this den with flowers, if you want. I can make wreaths, banners, or pretty much anything. Just as long as it won't bother the..." She started. She remembered what Flora called the twolegs, smiled and said, "The bareskins."

She smiled, and began work on making a few banners, and two wreaths for the outside. She smiled, humming softly as she weaved their stems together. Simple but rewarding work.

" My friend that I used to live with had adopted two kits we found alone and abandoned. One of them passed yesterday and she said I should grow up when I cried. I yelled at her and then I ended up here. "

She side-glanced at Percy, frowning. She had heard so many stories about the cats that had ended up at her place... Each one hitting her heart just as hard.

'' I am sorry about that. Crying is a normal reaction to loss; you don't have to 'grow up' just because you showed emotions. ''

Just like she did to the molly that was making flower decorations, she nuzzled the side of the tom's face.

'' I am sorry for your loss. Do you think you will go back to see them ever again? ''
