stone looked out the window into the garden wondering would happen this leaf-fall and if it would snow early, late, or at regular time

"You know you can go outside and hunt, right?" She didn't really understand what the tom was going for, but it did seem strange that Stone didn't know what he could do. "You can always go outside." Minnie meowed.

"Not if you come back every night." Minnie knew this. She had gotten trapped in the neighbor's house, but they found her and let he out one day. "If you're gone for longer than two days, they tend to worry."
