Adderkit forced out a yawn that nearly snapped his jaw, but as he did, his eyes opened a bit, and he instantly wrenched them open in pure shock. The world was so bright, and fun looking, and..... so big. His eyes were the light blue that all kittens had, but they would go to the deep shade of green gold with time. He just sat there, his eyes wide with surprise, and took it all in.

Cherrydawn padded quietly into the leader's den, her heart racing. Skyfeather was right on her tail. Just like they had planned, she had gone to fetch him at first light and escorted him to Thunderclan camp. Now was the moment that held the potential to either make her the happiest cat in all the clans, or devastate her. Now, she would be asking Snowstar if Skyfeather could join Thunderclan. She glanced back at the black and white tom and smiled reassuringly. The camp would be waking up soon, and they'd wake up to nostils full of Windclan smell. Already it was filling the den. Swallowing, Cherrydawn padded further inside. "Snowstar?" the ginger and white shecat meowed softly. "It's me, Cherrydawn. I'm so sorry to bother you so early." The shecat was a fairly new warrior, and she wasn't even sure if Snowstar would remember her from her warrior ceremony. The leader had all of Thunderclan to look after, after all. And kits too. "I have... we have something to tell you." The shecat turned her head and flicked her tail, signalling for Skyfeather to come closer.

Skyfeather stayed close to Cherrydawn. He was afraid that a ThunderClan cat would wake up and attack him. The tom exhaled quietly and slipped into the leaders den after the ThunderClan warrior. Skyfeather felt his paws trembling as he hid behind Cherrydawn. What if she rejects me? What if she attacks me?
What if Blazingstar find out? What if the two clans do battle, then I'd be fighting my clan. So many thoughts raced through his mind that he couldn't keep track of them all.
If Snowstar refuses to accept me... Then... He shook his pelt. No. Don't think about that.

Snowstar usually stayed in the nursery with her kits but right now she just needed time to think. Peace and quiet. Blazingstar's declaration of war still rang through her ears, and she unconsciously flattened them against her skull, as if that could silence it. No, she still heard it. WindClan and ThunderClan really were going to war, and that thought made the leader wince. She... Still couldn't believe she did anything wrong. Really. Well, maybe taking that WindClan warrior prisoner was a little extreme, but she was unharmed, and Snowstar had just been trying to prove a point. Bad way to prove a point, but still. Accusing them of murder wasn't that bad, and stealing prey? She had to. She had no other choice. She wasn't going to apologize because each time, she was just doing what she thought was best for ThunderClan. That wasn't wrong. That couldn't be wrong.

She was snapped from her thoughts when she heard someone speak, and her head raised instantly. Cherrydawn. Of course she remembered the young she-cat. The Siamese quickly pushed herself to sit up, ears pricking. "Yes, hello. What is it?" Her voice was warm, pushing away the negative emotions swirling inside. She did tense a little when WindClan scent hit her nose, and her ice blue gaze flickered over to Skyfeather for a split second. Her eyes narrowed, not exactly hostile, but clearly wondering what a WindClan cat was doing here. But she said nothing more and turned her gaze back to Cherrydawn. Whatever the reason, Snowstar could only hope that her warrior could provide a good reason for bringing a WindClan warrior into her den.

"Snowstar," Cherrydawn began, fighting to keep her voice steady. This will work. She'll say yes. She has to say yes! "This is Skyfeather. As you can tell, he's from Windclan." The shecat twined her tail with the tom's giving him an encouraging smile. "We're in love. We've been in love since my first gathering when we were apprentices." Cherrydawn kept her gaze steady as she looked at her leader, trying to be brave. "I know I've broken the warrior code. I'll take whatever punishment you need to give me. I know that it won't be any worse than knowing that I've let my mother in Starclan down. But Skyfeather and I, we don't want to be apart anymore. He wants to join Thunderclan so we can be together. I know this is a lot for me to ask. We're at war with Windclan... but Skyfeather is a good cat! A wonderful cat." The shecat gazed lovingly at Skyfeather, cuing him to make his case to join. This will work. It has to work.

Stoneheart looked at each of his kits. Oh they had such beautiful, innocent, young eyes that surveyed the world in a more positive, simple, almost perfect way. He noticed that Rainkit still hadn't opened her eyes, perhaps she was just late. Crowsong looked so fresh, being a mother was totally something she was good at. He hoped that he was a good father. Come to think of it he hadn't interacted with his kits as much as he liked. Maybe once they could walk without tripping or stumbling he could teach them how to play mossball or a hunting crouch. He wanted to teach them and he wanted them to be proud to say that he's their father. "Hey." Stoneheart said turning to face his kits, a brilliant idea in his mind. "Would you like to hear a story?" He asked with a hopeful look on his silver face. @little-life-light

Skyfeather still felt unsteady under the leaders gaze. "Uhh..." He struggled to find the words he needed to convince Snowstar.
He took a deep breath and opened his jaws to speak. "Please Snowstar.
What she said was true, we have been in love since apprentices. I know I've broken the code alot. I'm sorry. But I swear I'm loyal. I just don't want to face Cherrydawn in battle. I don't even what to fight ThunderClan." The warrior paused for a few moments.
"Cherrydawn and I want to be in the same clan. We don't want to be separated anymore. I... I love Cherrydawn, and I wanted to join ThunderClan so she wouldn't have to leave everything behind..." Skyfeather lowered his head.
"So please, Snowstar?"
