As soon as Ravenpelt responded, a yowl split the air. Startled, the brown she-cat jumped a little. She forced her fur to smooth, hoping Ravenpelt hadn't noticed her fright. However, that voice sounded familiar. "Is that another ThunderClan cat?" Mudstep asked hopefully. "Do they have a destiny too? Maybe we should train together!" She puffed out her chest. ThunderClan must be important to have two cats training here.

"Yes, that's my other apprentice." Ravenpelt meowed. "Would you like to meet him? He's handsome, single, a great warrior." She gave a purr of laughter. "Anyways, yes you can train together."

"O-okay, great!" Mudstep spluttered awkwardly at Ravenpelt's description of her other apprentice. Hearing her new mentor's purr of laughter, Mudstep relaxed a little. She was clearly teasing. With a nod, she hurried towards the direction the yowl came from. The scent of ThunderClan was definitely growing stronger. She skidded to a halt in a clearing, setting eyes on Elkshadow.

Ravenpelt wasn't lying. He was handsome. She had seen the young tom around camp before, but she had always been too shy to approach him. Unsure of how to proceed, she scuffed the ground shyly with her paws. "Hi, Elkshadow!" She mewed, hoping her voice didn't falter.

Mudstep’s eyes immediately brightened at his friendly greeting. She excitedly bounded over to him. ”Yes! I’m glad we’ll get to be spending time together.” She mewed, ducking her head in embarrassment when she realized how that sounded. “I-I mean training, that is.”

At the thought of training for the prophecy, Mudstep’s excitement immediately returned. ”Can you believe it?! Us! Chosen to be trained by StarClan!” One could practically see the stars in her eyes as she gazed happily at Elkshadow. ”We must be pretty important.”. The she-cat flicked Elkshadow’s ear with her tail, shyness forgotten. ”Ravenpelt says you’re a great warrior. Shall we put it to the test?” She teased, crouching playfully.

Mudstep gasped as her paws were swiped from under her, causing her to crash into the ground. She grunted as Elkshadow landed on top of her, gently holding her scruff with his teeth. Mudstep pushed the tom off of her, grunting with the effort. "Okay, okay- you win!" She stood up, shaking the dust of the forest floor out of her pelt. That was neat! You're really strong."

( I think she'll be scared at first, but can be talked into it if she thinks it for the good of her Clan )
