The ginger tom continued walking. Wasn't camp getting any closer? It seemed like such a long walk. However, he was grateful for the moors. There wasn't anything to avoid like branches or creeks. It was flat and he could see everything at the top of the hills. That was his favorite part. The ginger tom looked towards the sky as he lit up brighter and brighter. The time was definitely going by though. His limp probably didn't help their pace. "You don't have to walk with me. Catch up with the others if you want, they're almost to camp, I'm just slowing you up," he commented, gesturing to the cats ahead of them. They were almost to camp at this point and couldn't hear anything they were talking about and vice versa. He was positive it was just a lot of battle gossip.

Rosethorn didn't object to Blazingstar's first comment, nodding. Blazingstar's word was law, after all; she wouldn't interfere with his orders, not unless she had reason to, which she didn't at that moment. She paused at the crest of the hill, looking over the moors that had become so familiar to her, warm and inviting. It was much more of a home to her than the Dusk Syndicate's territory had been, that's for sure. She breathed in the subtle scent of grass and flowers, carried through the plains by the wind that had given their clan its name. However, upon hearing Blazingstar again, she jerked her head up and looked over at him. "No!" She protested, the word spilling out of her mouth before she could think of a better, and more polite way to say it. She stared at him for a moment, shaking her head. "No." She repeated, albeit calmer than before. "Blazingstar, I have my reasons for personally escorting you to camp. I'm not going to back out on it, not when we're this close to camp, to gossip about the battle with cats that I hardly know." She said firmly, her tone enough to show that she was serious and would not argue with Blazingstar about it. She tried for a smile, slightly apologetic for her outburst. "I'm enjoying this, honest." She said softly, her face heating up under her pelt. She was once again thankful for the thick fur that she had; it was almost impossible for someone to tell that she was blushing.

It must have been hard for her, he could tell that she had names in store for all the kits, and since there was an odd number one of the would only get to name one of the kits. He decided he would be that one because Thea probably already had names for all of them so why bother telling her she only got to name one? That was something Weaselshade was not going to do. He looked at the the three kits trying to decide which one he wanted to name. He loved them all, he wanted to name each of them equally but he was only one of two parents. The other parent was Thea, and he knew from experience that it was best that he not get on her bad side, especially after she had just birthed three beautiful kits. Plus only a name for one of the kits popped into mind. The white one, the lightest of the three, the one that looked like a mini copy of Thea. Her fur was clear, milky white, and she looked like a clear image of her mother. The name that came to mind when he looked at her was Clearkit. The name also made him feel like he was looking at a purehearted kit, and he wanted the best for her. Giving her a name so pure, loving and beautiful might make her more inclined to be a pure, loving cat. Though Weaselshade knew it was funny, it made him happy just to think about it. "Yes," He nodded distantly staring at the three kits and smiling, definitely feeling happier than he ever had in his life. It felt so nice looking at kits, kits with a family and clan who loved them, a thing that both of their parents hadn't had. Thea hadn't even known her family he assumed, and he had always wondered what it would be like to have a family, a real family, not one that adopted him. His eyes were wide moons of happiness as a gazed at the three mostly content beings. He moved his fluffy tali and hovered it over the lightest one, afraid that he might make it hard for her to breathe if he rested it on her. "Clearkit, for her light fur just like yours." He smiled, looking at her, "Your ideas?"

The unnamed molly almost yowled in annoyance, the tom thought he could push her around. She knew he was her littermate, she knew the older sources of warmth would be mad, but she didn't care. If needed space why didn't he just make it clear that was what he needed instead of being a jerk? Well joke was on him because two could play at that game. Bunching up all the muscle in her body, she threw her body against his side slightly, making sure not to hurt the thing she wanted to call mother.

Once comfortable, she suckled. She flicked her tail and kneaded her paws, content as she continued to try and ignore her brother to the best of her ability. She let out occasional tiny squeaks, but was fairly quiet for a newborn. Her eyes still sealed, she didn't know what was trying to push her around, or what was making all those noises, and so they frightened her slightly. She tensed slightly, paws stopping their kneading action. She soon realized she was in no actual danger, for the most part, and continued on, relaxing.
As Weaselshade suggested Clearkit to be the name of their youngest, Thea moved her muzzle, lightly grazing her smallest offspring, with a wet, soft lick. Clearkit it was. The youngest was name, so the new mother moved her head to her second eldest. The smallest duplicate of her father. This made Thea glanced briefly towards Weaselshade before gazing down at her first daughter. A smirk etched onto her creamy face. "Silouettekit." She announced. The name was odd, yet it was unique. It wasn't one of those simple clan cat's name, but instead had a bit of flavor that made this piece of treasure an honorable addition. "Because she looks like you." The only one who really looked like him, and therefore would be named after him because why not? Thea believed that the Tom before her would step up to be a father to him, given the chance. Since she wasn't very emotional lately (which became a terrible trait during her pregnancy) the queen wasn't quick to judge her companion like many times before. "Like a little...shadow. Only Silouette has more of a ring to it. Do you like that?" Though Silouettekit had more of a lighter pelt than her father, perhaps Thea's creamy fur mixed into that, the small kit had recognizable features that her father inherit. After naming her, Thea excitedly turned to her eldest kit, who was certainly giving his sisters a lot of mischief, a lick on the head. This seldom calmed him down, and instead he flailed around more. Thea rolled her crystal blue eyes, leaning her muzzle down to gingerly touch his head - he whined. He protested. This made Thea giggle softly. "Well, if this definitely isn't your son, then I don't know who is." She joked, finding her own eldest to be the utmost troublesome and annoying kit nursing. "But, he's certainly not a Weasel." She stated, softly, shaking her head as she put a thoughtful expression on her maw. This little guy was far from being a weasel. Where weasels were annoying, more sneaky, this one nursing at her belly seemed like he didn't have to sneak around to cause trouble. This little guy appeared that he wanted to get caught when he did things he had no business doing. Thea calmly stared at her oldest, her only son, as he squirmed around. She seen Silouettekit pushed onto her brother, clearly dissatisfied at his actions. Thea analyzed the pelt color of her oldest. He had her creamy texture, but his fur was much darker than hers, mixing in with Weaselshade's dark shaded pelt. It didn't remind her of a Weasel, not even a ferret. More so, it reminded her of a...raccoon. Truth be told, Thea naturally named him after the rebellious animal because, firstly, Raccoons were tough. And, annoying. Just like a weasel. So, all in all, she deemed his name to be Raccoonkit. "Let's name this big guy Raccoonkit." She purred. "Just because his pelt coloring takes on that dark brown appearance like one." She lied. She wasn't naming the kit because of his appearance. She was naming him such because if he was Weaselshade's son, he was bound to be annoying, right? Besides, Thea didn't find that she needed to tell the real reason why she named her kit that. The troubled kit was already pushing her buttons the way he treated his sisters and whine - constantly, all the time.

Now, given his name, which seemed to fit well, the Tom kit continued to squirm around. When he felt another matter push him, Raccoonkit retaliated, rolling over on purpose as to suffocate the other small feline. It was his way of warning the other: back off...of course, Raccoonkit wasn't on top of the fluffy kit much longer because he felt himself getting picked him, albeit gently, and laying back onto the mossy nest. Perhaps, where he was laying before. His whines settled down, and he happily latched onto his mother's milk, kneading her stomach, which brought discomfort to her. Though as he grows older, others would learn that his greediness for food...and other things...would never be satiated.

He grunted when Asphodelspark flopped down on top of him, and squeaked indignantly at the other warrior's words. "Well, I never!" He exclaimed, mocking Asphodelspark's feigned little female voice. "I'll have you know, I do work hard, thank you. You're just so heavy," He replied. His voice went back to normal on that last sentence, and he squirmed a little under the other warrior, pushing against him again to try to get him off. "Very heavy. Trying to get you off is enough of a workout," He said with a teasing smirk.
Asphodelspark let out an “ooph” as Hunterfang pushed even more air from his lungs by shoving his paws against his chest and belly. Asphodelspark’s feigned voice did the trick and put an end to Hunterfang’s resistance through the power of laughter. No one can push s fully grown warrior off of them while they are too busy having a laughing fit. Asphodel couldn’t help but laugh triumphantly as he heard Hunterfang’s grunt when he landed on top of the other tom. His little trick was turned back on him when Hunterfang mimicked his odd little voice, causing Asphodelspark to dissolve into laughter. After regaining some composure, the ginger tom groaned dramatically, “I simply can’t get up. Gravity is increasing on me.” With those words he wiggles a little bit atop Hunterfang and pushed down with all his might to squish his friend as he laughed.

[ Sorry for the belatedness @Okapi ]

Wavesplash has been alone, blue eyes on the ground. She could almost map the whole moor from memory - every pebble, every rabbit hole, from all the time she’d spent looking at the ground. She could also tell most cats from their paws, once again thanks to all the time she’d spent staring at them, for fear of their facial expressions. When a cat came up to her, though, she didn’t recognize the paws, or the way they walked. She figured they were going to walk by her, so when they stopped, she was even more surprised. She didn’t look up, only muttered an awkward “Hello.”

She smiled," How are you doing?" She meowed sitting down next to the she-can't. She had to help her clanmate out. It was only right. She wanted her to feel better and have a better outlook on life. She,had too.

Some cats would argue against him, but he would stick firm to his beliefs. Love was - and always would be - the worst. Now, he wasn't against it, oh no - he had seen his parents together and knew that they had their own type of love. He understood it - at a young age, yes, Mercurykit was fully aware of what love was, what it meant, and what falling in it meant, but he was far too young to actually experience it. That might have been part of the reason that he called it a weakness, and he was so hasty to do that that he forgot his own rule: NEVER assume ANYTHING until you're ABSOLUTELY SURE of ALL the facts. The tom looked up at Quailpaw, his own eyes serious and calm, remaining unaggressive. It seemed the best way to form an alliance with this she cat was the more sophisticated approach.

Mercurykit had been watching other cats, mimicking their behaviors and he had split them up into groups... sort of like stereotyping, and then there were the cats who fit into several of those groups. There were cats who put up a happy facade in front of others, but showed signs of sadness - there were cats who acted angry, but then when they were around certain cats they were sweet and kind - and there were cats who looked the loneliest, but were so happy when someone came to spend time with them. Mercurykit didn't try to copy any of them, guessing they were manipulators like himself and he knew all too well what it was like to have to try and perfect multiple personalities to charm cats. He had to be careful. At the mention of Singenight, there was a hungry gleam in Mercurykit's eyes and he moved slightly closer to Quailpaw.

"Ah, our greatest leader. He changed WindClan for the better; made us stronger, wiped out the weak and disloyal." His voice was kept low, so that only she could hear it - like he had said, you should keep your voice low when speaking of things like that. Voice low and head down. Now, there was no mistaking that Mercurykit was a loyal cat. He was, in fact, quite obsessed with staying loyal. To his family and Clan, that was. His leader? Blazingstar might have been a clanmate, but to Mercurykit, he was no leader. Onyxwhisper was no deputy. They had been in charge for far too long already, and Dapplestar had been a fool to leave a joker in charge. Who did the tom think he was, pretending to lead the glorious Clan of WindClan?

Who did the tom think he was, acting like he was "so good?" Mercurykit wished that Thrushflight or Caramelblood were in charge of the Clan. The two toms would make WindClan strong again, because if there was one thing he had learned, it was that size wasn't everything. Thrushflight might have been small, but he had killed before and he was powerful. "Good." Was all the tom said, before his eyes returned to scanning the clearing. Today... today was a great day to be alive.

The weak and disloyal huh? Well I'm still here, so what does that mean? Quailpaw wasn't calling herself weak, oh no. The tabby would never do that. But she wasn't the most loyal cat around either. So Singenight probably didn't wipe out every single one of them. But I was just a kit at the time. He wouldn't have known. It was true. No cat could really guess what their kits would grow up to be like. They would only hope that if they taught them correctly, and treated them well, then they would turn out to be like their parents. Not Quailpaw. Quailpaw's father was a loyal and loving cat, and she loved him dearly, but she was not like him. But he was the only cat she was loyal to. And the only cat she loved.

"Yes, Singenight was a great leader. But there could be better." Quailpaw spoke the sentence softly, more speaking to herself than to Mercurykit. She didn't care much for the thought of leadership. To her, a leader should include more cats in the decisions of the clan then just the deputy, medicine cat, and a few senior warriors. But otherwise, the tabby really didn't care. She had no desire to lead a clan. It would be too much work, too much responsibility. She would have to look after the welfare of other cats. And the only welfare Quailpaw looked after was her own.

"Who do you think would make Windclan great again?" A general question, and though Quailpaw didn't care, she was curious of the tom's thoughts. He seemed to have a mindset similar to her own, something that Quailpaw had not found within the clan yet. All of the cats in this clan were little loyal goody-two-shoes to her. Not ferocious warriors.

@Okapi

Wavesplash stiffened. Why was this cat talking to her? No one talked to her. Why would this cat care? The voice sounded feminine. Wavesplash refuses to look up. It took all of her willpower not to lift her head and look the cat in her eyes. She, instead, straightened, gray fur buffeting. Her large stature would’ve been intimidating, if it wasn’t for the fact that her fur hadn’t been groomed in - Well, StarClan knows how long. She deliberately faced the other way, feeling a pinch of guilt as she did so. She pushed her conscious down, becoming cold. “...Who are you?” Internally, the molly winced. Even to her, her words sounded rude and uncaring.

The now-named Clearkit seemed to perk up at her name, though she couldn't hear it, being newborn and all. Her pelt fluffed and she squeaked, a tiny purr vibrating from her as she rested her head on her paws, her tail flicked and she slowly drifted to sleep, aware of the two kits next to her still fighting over..something. Her eyelids drooped and she let the warmth of her mother lure her to sleep.
