Barleys way (open)

[Rapid]

An orange, black, and white calico cat, yawned as the sun shined on its smooth but fluffy fur. It was still kinda cold outside, even though the sun is out and shining, it isn't warm enough to melt all of the snow. Shaking his body off, he stalks towards a river. Dipping his head down, he laps up water and looks around warily. He has seen other rouges out here and does not wanna have conflict with one especially if they are bigger than him. Lifting his head up, he fixes his bandana back to the right spot and walks off to find food.

* After running for a few days she stopped in a clearing panting. She held her swollen belly. *
" Jeez never have I ran so far or fast in my life. "
* She was panting hard. So hard in fact she fell to the ground her legs practically giving way. *
" I-i need t-to rest. "
* She fell unconscious. *

Barley trotted further into the forest looking around for food until he heard a body thump on the ground. Looking thru some tall grass, he spotted a pregnant cat laying there on the ground. "Well that is nothing you dont see every day," said Barley in his southern accent. Jogging towards the tired-looking and distressed cat, he pokes at her. "Hey, hey are you alright," asked Barley. Realizing what he said, he instead of waiting for an answer, picked up the molly by her scruff and took her out of the woods, and set her on some soft grass near his little den area. Picking his old turtle shell, he scoops some water into it and lays it down by the she-cat, and waits for her to wake up.

* After awhile she wakes. *
" H-huh w-who are you. "
* She noticed they brought her water and she drank it up. Mewing a thanks as well. *
" Where am I. "

Shadow had wandered a little too far from his housefolk. His moon-white eyes scanned the forest. He spotted two cats. A she-cat expecting kits and a tom. Mates? He wondered and smelled something. He lifted his head and narrowly avoided a badger diving at him. Shadow screeched in fear and ran off with the badger giving the chase. His red collar was scrunched up against his neck as he ran, his ears flattened, his eyes slits, his fur pricked up, fear taking over him. @Cat Bee

"Well you were passed out on my territory when I was hunting, so I took you back to my den," said Barley picking up the turtle shell again and scooping up more water. "And you looked really tired and I couldn't leave a pregnant she-cat unconscious," said Barley placing down the turtle shell and taking off his bandana.

* She closed her eyes but stayed awake. *
" I've been running for quite some time. "
* She held her swollen belly and curled around it. *

Barley watched as the she-cat curled herself around her belly. "Oh, yea well my name is Barley, um I am about to go hunt so ill be back, will mice do," asked Barley about to put his bandana back on and leave.

"Your welcome," said Barley putting back on his bandana. Leaving Thyme behind, he trots a bit further before stopping. "I smell another cat," whispered Barley. Walking further he found a frightened-looking tom. "Oh hey are you alright, you don't seem so well my friend," said Barley in a worried laced voice.
