Patch's territory

Patch sat on a stone on the beach, she loved the calming sound of the ocean and the way the wind ruffled her black and white patched fur. patch didn't mind being alone, no one could make fun of her for having only three legs, for she had been born missing a back leg. she hated being made fun of, it hurt being thought of as weird.

Patch thought about all she had been through, cringing at the thought as the memories were bad. she turned and leaped off the rock heading to her den in the forest behind the beach, stopping only to pick up two cardinal feathers to stick in her ear.

Patch curled up in her nest, wondering if she'd always be alone. she missed her brother, he'd always been kind to her when they were kits. but she know she'd likely never see him again as he had chosen to become a kittypet on a farm that was well away from here.

Patch heard rustling in a cave nearby. this made her very curious "who could be in there? why are they on my territory?" she asked herself.

* As he was in the cave looking for prey he heard a noise and turned around. He noticed a shadow coming into the cave and he hoped onto a ledge high enough to not be seen. He watches as a she-cat walks in. *

Patch was nervous, last time a cat wandered onto her territory she had gotten mock for only having three legs... what was that sound? she wondered, having the feeling someone was watching her.

"who's there" she growled.

* He drops down in front of her and his tall appearance blocking the cave entrance. *
" Hello there. I'm Scar, and who are you. "
* His jet black fur looks like a shadow. *

Patch jumped back, startled by the other cats sudden appearance, "p-patch"
