Sweetleaf's white feet fell softly on the ground, the soft sprouts of grass pressing comfortingly against the pink pads of her paws. Whiskers waving in the cool Newleaf breeze, she opened her mouth to let the scents fill it. A soft purr rumbled through her through, a smile spreading to the corners of her mouth as she looked around at the cats around her. They'd been sent out on a patrol together, out to the Dusk Syndicate border- which she'd noticed had been more heavily patrolled lately. Sweetleaf had always been one to imagine the worst case scenario, but even she believed there was no real danger. Still, a vague sense of foreboding still filled her, settling in the back of her chest. "Remind me of your names again? I'm Sweetleaf," said the Ragdoll as she padded towards the border with the rest of the patrol. Ever a social cat, she found great pleasure in meeting and talking to other cats. She hoped they wouldn't ask about her name, though- while a warrior name, unlike other kittypets who had joined the clan, it wasn't exactly traditional. She had one of the rare personality prefixes that could only be gained if one had joined the clan after birth, and a suffix that was usually reserved for medicine cats in honor of her birth name, Leaf. Normally cats didn't ask, but she often worried about implausible things nevertheless, each possible outcome always cycling through the forefront of her mind.

Fennel spotted the cat at the border," You better stay on your side of the border or you'll pay." She spat, her claws unsheathed and fangs showing," I won't harm you until you step one paw over the border."

The larger figured of a feline emerged out of the shdows, approaching the new border from behind the smaller trainee. The tan and black spotted cat narrowed his eyes. This, by far had to be his least favorite place in the Syndicate. The border with Skyclan. Besides, they were the ones to cause his downfall. It was thanks to them, he and the other leaders had fallen from power. No, fallen was not the right word, rather pushed, killed or taken. They had charged in, spirits high and defeated every single Clan single handedly, except for in Shadowclan, but that was a different story. The previous leader scowled as he saw the other cats on the other side of the border. Great, just great. As if to add more hatred and anger boiling in side of him. He already hated the place and the Clan it's self. Now here he was trying not to get too angered, but now there were cats from the Clan here as well. What more would he need to set his rage off? Not much, and the Skyclan cats words did not help his situation. "Stay off our backs." he spat, yellow hues narrowed to thin strips.

"Fair warning? You should be the one being warned, kittypet," the yound tom spat, tail lashing aggressively. The fur on Pardus' hackles rose and his eyes glinted; he had been trying to get himself into a fight with a Clan cat for moons, and never had he been this close to achieving his goal. At this point, he's rather die than not claw some of the spfties that called themselves Clan cats. To him, they were the bermin that had stolen his brother, and SkyClan was the reason he left in the first place.

Pardus flattened his ears. "I'd like to see you try to 'slaughter' me. You appear to be about a strong as a chipmunk," he hissed, unsheathing his claws and stepping closer to the border. "I bet when you go hunting, it's the mouse that catches you," the tom added mockingly.

Shadow padded up next to Pardus, smiling devilishly as he spots the SkyClan cats. "Well, well, well, what do we have here?" He asks, unsheathing his claws and walking along the border line. His green eyes had already looked over the SkyClan cats, spotting any weak spots or injured locations on them. He was ready for a fight. "Looks as if a bunch of kittpets just came out of their warm twoleg den to the real world." He mocks, baring his teeth at them.
