GoldenFur wakes up and shakes all the moss off her pelt before trotting outside

Had he ever been in this den before?

Wolfhive couldn't recall, as he stepped within the threshold. He never really needed to before, so the likelihood seemed slim. His home had always been at Bumba's side throughout his life, and though he didn't want that to change, he had to face the reality that unfortunately a certain fish was taking up her den space more often than he'd like.

Today he planned on arranging a nest for himself, a backup spot for when he couldn't steal Bumba snugs. His plans were stalled immediately upon entering by a wretched smell, and Wolfhive recoiled back sharply, his muzzle twisted in clear disgust. "When was this den last cleaned??? The dirt-place smells better!!"

GoldenFur trotted in to the warriors den and went to the very back and made a nest and curled up and went to sleep.

Alpinekit was investigating the den entrance for a while. She could not really see past the vines to the den. The young molly thought, "I want to know what's in there!". She crawled underneath the curtain of vines and moss and, raised herself to a standing stance.

There was a horrid stench on one side of the den, where Wolfhive was. This was Alpinekit's first time in the Warrior's Den. The smell was strong, and she walked to the other side where it smelt cleaner.

Yeah, no, this wasn't going to fly with him. Wolfhive began to grab bedding and drag it out of the den. "Alpinekit, Goldenfur, you two wanna give me a paw?" First things first, they were going to clear all of the used bedding out of the den to give it a chance to air out.

Alpinekit nodded and began to grab moss bedding with her teeth. The young cat learned it from watching the apprentices and warriors. The nest was full of cat fur and she was dragging it outside the den. Alpinekit spotted some nest nearby and put it there. As soon as she laid it down, she spat out the fur.

The she-cat flopped into her nest, exhausted. Curling up within the bracken and moss. Berryflake closed her eyes and waited for sleep to arrive. She waited... and waited... and waited... But still she was wide awake. Sitting up again, she started smoothing out the inside of her nest to make it more comfortable.

Nightgaze
Thunderclan warrior

Shockingly green eyes glowed dully from one of the nests in the warriors' den, unmoving from a mossball Nightgaze had made from the pieces of her half shredded bed. She hadn't been in the best shape recently, since her apprentice died so she'd been prone to quite a few nightmares and general fits of anger...still she tried to persevere...yet it hadn't been going very well.

Vacantly picking apart her object of tedious amusement, the small she-cat rested her head on her paws, staring distantly ahead. Rasping her tongue over her messy black fur in an unenthusiastic attempt to clean the moss scraps of her pelt, Night's mind was completely on Fawnpaw, nothing else, whether it be their bittersweet memories together or her death Nightgaze was hell bent on vengeance...she was just too grief-stricken to see who the culprit was yet.

Goldenfur opened her eyes and shook all the moss out of her pelt then sat back down to wash her self off
