Th dark grey warrior makes his way into the leader's den. He looks at the ground and looks at Skystar with a deep, respectful glance. "Is it possible by any chance that I could speak with you?" Dimshard asks softly.

skystar had definitely lost a bit of sleep thinking of this idea but, since the battle riverclan had less territory than was preferable. today[more like this moon] was the day that riverclan would expand their territory once again. skystar called into the clearing from his den for snowleap and waited patiently inside for his deputy to arrive.

➢ Upon being summoned by the golden-furred tomcat, the RiverClan deputy appeared at the entrance of his den only moments later after he had gone inside. “You wished to see me, sir?” He mewed, dipping his head to Skystar and stepped inside, sitting down a few steps away from the clan leader and curling his tail around himself. There are many things that this could be about, but Snowleap remained open-minded. It was the least he could do for his mental health. Thankfully, Skystar didn't look pissed-off, but actually excited given his body language alone. Maybe they'd finally have some good news. Only StarClan knew how much all of RiverClan -- especially Snowleap -- needed that right now.

skystar gave his deputy a small smile as he walked in. "uh, yeah. as you know, after the battle we've lost a chunk of our territory and honestly, i'm not going to let that slide. even with green-leaf coming up soon, we need as much hunting land as we can get." skystar would've been more worried about this issue had it still been leaf-bare but it was still a long term issue that he wanted to get addressed fast. "thats why i feel like it would be a good idea to explore outside of the clans for new territory. someplace that can't be stolen from us, like the cove."

➢ Blinking at the clan leader as he began to speak, the dark-furred oriental simply nodded along to his words, listening intently and not saying anything until he was completely finished. “I agree,” He remarked simply, closing his single eye for a moment as he thought about it more for a short moment, “Would it be farther than Lionsrange?” Because that place was surely a hefty trek all on it’s own. Did anyone really remember that patch of land that used to be RiverClan's territory? The scarred tomcat breathed a softened sigh through his nose. “Also... Do you think we have enough healthy, able-bodied warriors to make such a journey?” Sure, it had been some time since the battle now, but still… he thought of the well-being of their clanmates. This idea honestly excited him, deep down, but Snowleap remained mature about it.

"definitely further than what lionsrange is now, i guess its called the rugged range now?" skystar hadn't heard of it being called that before but, the name was the least of his concerns right now. "no actually, and thats why i propose we bring along a couple apprentices if healthy warriors aren't available. trained or not, it will definitely be a great addition to their training and.. at least i think we'll be able to handle keeping a couple apprentices alive." skystar would definitely not be taking his eyes on them at all during any of the trip, and as long as they didn't act stupid skystar was confident they'd be fine.

She walked into the den. "Hello, Skystar. I brought you a fish. I was out watering the sunflower on kestrelstar's grave, so I caught you a fish. I thought you might like it."

➢ “Mm,” The dark-furred tomcat hummed in response, thinking about various things while the golden tabby continued to speak, “Are there any in particular you have in mind?” He knew that both Bluepaw and Risingpaw were far from ready for that kind of journey, as the two young tomcats were still healing from the cove battle. Snowleap did agree, however, with the whole notion that both Skystar and him could handle it. An important mission would be good experience for them, without a doubt. He just hoped it would be all worth the extra trouble.

skystar looked up the nightleap entering his den. "i appreciate it, but im afraid I have no interest in talking at the moment if thats what your looking for. maybe another time nightleap." with that statement, he motioned for the molly to exit his den.

"not particularly, after we're finished here i'm going to call for recruits in the clearing. and while i have no one in mind to attend the journey with us, i have two cats in mind to watch camp in our absence, if that sounds good to you we can head out today. " skystar wasn't nervous about who would volunteer, he was confident in all the members of riverclan to undertake this journey.
