Inuri Said with a sigh, but they continued onward, Lagging a bit behind from having to avoid Brambles, Logs, and some Low-hanging branches. They Caught up with him Half a Minuet later, With Iruni laughing a bit seeing him grooming his paw. "Heh, not often do we see toms that care enough to groom their fur." Iruni said, Smileing a bit.

castiel shrugged. "i was raised this way," he said, swiping his tongue across his maw. "come on." his tail flicked and he trotted forwards into the field in front of them. the tom's steps were silent, although he was rather light, so it was not surprising. he bristled his fur against an icy breeze, mumbling irritably to himself. with the weather getting colder, they would have to travel slower to avoid freezing to death. which would then mean more openings to predators and other unwanted guests who would then prolong their journey.
he dug his claws into the ground, looking around. his pupils narrowed as he saw the dead, frostbitten grass all around them. splendid. castiel closed his eyes and calmed himself. he could do this, and he would do this. they will reach the cave safely, and then he could leave to his travels once more. at least, that was the plan.

Inuri winced at the sight of the Frostbitten grass. "Great, just great..." she Mumbled, but continued to pad forward. "Yes! Early leafbare!" Iruni said, smileing at the sight of the frozen grass. She loved leafbare, even though her sister dispised it. She loved the feeling of leaves crunching under her paw, and the was you could see your breath sometimes. They continied to follow him, although more closely now since they were out of the forrest.
