Timber watched his friends quietly, content to just sit and listen to them bicker like kittens. "You two stop, before you end up killing each other!" He yelled. Branch laughed as he stomped into a puddle, hitting Rain with muddy water. Rain sputtered out curses and insults as she tackled Branch, throwing him into the mud. He emerged with mud plastering the fur of his head up, giving him a interesting fur-do. Timber began to try to get away, and he succeeded. Sighing, he flopped over onto the cool grass, just beginning to become green again. He growled. How could something so small, be so pretty? He scratched at the grass, tearing clumps of it up, until he was sitting in a nest of loose and tattered grass. He panted. He lifted his head as he heard a rustle, and it wasn't Branch, or Rain, or even Branch's silly kittypet friend Tink. "Who's there?" He called out, not attempting to get up. Instead, he flopped over, giving in. "You can come out you know," He added roughly.

Violet had been sniffing around and had soon found cat scent. Now she was hiding fearfully in a bush, not wanting to come out to the strange cats. Even though one called to her.

He could smell the other cat clearly now, a she-cat. "My friends aren't around, and even if they were, they wouldn't hurt you!" he said confidently, hoping to reassure the most likely frightened she-cat.

Timber winced as he heard a slight whimper. "Hey, Don't get upset, please don't get upset! I'm just wanting to talk? may I at least see your face? I'm sure you're really pretty... I just want to be sure," He cooed, hoping he sounded gentle and calming. He also hoped the compliment worked, it did on Rain. If you called fluffing her ego up until it filled her head with nonsense working. he sat, and crawling on his belly towards the noise, he saw himself looking at the she-cat. Timber found himself looking at a black and white she-cat, with really pretty purple eyes. He felt his throat tighten. "Hello, What's your name? I already told you mine," he chuckled. Squirming his way out of the bush, he sat in front of her, careful not to stare directly at her.

Timber's eyes widened at her question. "My stars, what gave you that idea?" he asked. "And to answer it, no, I won't. You're much too pretty, and it'd take too much time. Why waste it when we only have such a little amount of it?" he said slyly.
