DayClan's Site

DayClan lives in the Forest outside of the original Clan territories. They live by the streams and small waterfalls.

:.Landmarks.:
-In the center of the camp is a small waterfall and a small thin stream filled with small fish to eat.
-At the top of the small waterfall is a large stone which is called the Water Stone, this is where the leader address the clan.
-There is a large Oak a little ways from camp that has an open area filled with moss this is where the Apprentices come and train with their Mentors.
~Around the forest there are large boulders that just so happen to circle around, these boulders are the markers for their border.

:.Dens.:
~Beside the small waterfall is a small opening that only cats could fit through. This special cave has been designated for the Medicine Cat.
~There is an uprooted tree on the side of the camp and it is made into the Apprentices den.
~Beside the Apprentices den is another small cave bigger than the one designated for the Medicine Cat, this is the Warriors den.
~The leaders den is behind the Water Stone it is made out of brambles and other sturdy things.
~On the otherside of camp are some more made up dens of brambles and sturdy things. Though on the other side the ground is more mossy. These dens are for the Elders and Queens with kits.

Russetstar purred at Goldenheart's silly reaction and looked toward the entrance. "Shall we go?" The large Havana Brown smiled. Looking toward his deputy and other members, he hoped they would be fine in camp without him. There was still a worry about rogues in the territory but hopefully with the sun shining brightly, nothing terrible would happen today.

Honeyfrost gazed up at the handsome brute beside her. They hadn't eaten yet this morning and she was feeling quite shy since they confessed to one another. However, it was during the ceremony and she was still unsure a bit about how he felt toward her. The tricolored she-cat wasn't one to be so open about her feelings first, quite afraid of rejection even if she knew she wouldn't be. "Would you like to eat before we go out on a patrol?" She smiled up at him, her honey optics shining as the sun's rays washed over them.

Despite not detecting any sort of happiness of Larkbelly's face, Lichenpaw was still incredibly elated and could not wait to be taught from the wise, stern medicine cat of the camp, to work by his side, to learn the ways of healing so that he could help the clan. There was not an underlying tone of hate or anger anywhere on the young tom as he stood there, nothing but strong feelings of elation and happiness radiated off of him. This was he wanted most in life and it was actually coming true. It was like a beautiful dream that Lichenpaw would never want to wake up from. As the medicine cat approached him, he looked up with not a sense of fear, but a sense of absolute admiration, his eyes wide and looking up at Larkbelly before slightly reaching his head up to meet his nose with the medicine cats'. It was like a bolt of lightning that shot through him as he realized that this was truly happening, he was truly becoming the medicine cat apprentice, this was real. The moment seemed to last for eternity as they held their noses together, his yellow eyes staring right back into Larkbellys' green ones until finally the medicine cat pulled his head back and nodded to Russetstar. Legs weak from a burst of emotion, Lichenpaw forced himself to slowly settle back down, eyes still glued to the medicine cat as he settled down next to him. This was his mentor now.. "I have never been more certain about anything in my life.. Larkbelly.. This.. This was what I was made for. This is my destiny." Unlike when Lichenpaw usually talked, his voice was certain, not a hint of doubt there, and there was even a purr in his voice as he spoke to Larkbelly. Lichenpaw was absolutely sure that this.. This is what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. At the end of the ceremony, Lichenpaw didn't get up, he wanted to just sit there, next to his new mentor, for a good long while. Purring out loudly as his former mentor approached him, he dipped his head. "Thank you Russetstar." With that, he quickly looked back at Larkbelly.

@Owl After the cermony was over, Badgerjaw allowed himself to fully focus his attention on the lovely she next to him, his head turning as Russetstar closed the meeting, to look at Honeyfrost, that purr of his still rumbling roughly in his chest. "Certainly, come on." Nuzzling her cheek a bit, the black and white patched tom climbed to his paws and turned towards the fresh kill pile, making his head over but slowly, looking over his shoulder to make sure the tri-colored female was following him, a light happiness in his eyes that only seemed to have strengthened since he had uttered that confession to her during the ceremony.

Goldenheart nodded at her leader, and padded through the camp entrance. She glanced around the stretch of forest around her, soaking in all of it's fresh scents. Her paws were tingling with excitement, she'd never went with Russetstar alone before! It felt like a dream that StarClan themselves sent. In Goldenheart's eyes, this would be a great chance to prove to her own leader she was a loyal and honorable warrior! Seeping back to reality, she padded forward, sniffing the air for any prey scents. "Hm, we should try hunting near the small brook near middle of the territory. If that's okay with you?"
