My Art improvement y'all-

Since it's nearly new year...
I thought it would be nice to share a bit of my art journey :3 (this thread probably won't get noticed much, but I'd still like share)
To clarify something, I've been 'artsy' for as long as I can remember, but I never actually tried to draw anything until I was 12. I continued off and on until I was 14, stopped drawing for maybe 6months. After the awfully long art block I wanted to try digital art, after I gave it a shot I never really stopped. It's been pretty much 3yrs since then, and to me the progress I've made is quite impressive.

So ima throw out the first year of digital, then the second year, and then year 3/my most recent stuff.

Year 1

One of my first digital pieces

 

Like I said above, this thing is one of my first pieces. I was a big noob then, I had no idea what layers were and my line art was.... Uh awful-
This was done on my tablet with Medibang.

Full body

 

This my very first full body, as u can see I at least figured out what a layer was. The line art is still bad lol.... This was done on my tablet with Medibang.

My attempt at a human

 

I hate this soooo much.... But that's besides the point. I still used layers and the line art was pretty clear. This was my OC oz/Vulture'fang when he was just a mere idea. This was done on my tablet with Medibang.

Improvement?

 

So this has cleaner line art than the others, I used layers, and everything was cleaner than normal. This was on old oc of mine, nothing important. Made on my tablet with Medibang.

Year 2

This was my very first art shop commission, I was trying to to figure out my style, and knew the basics of digital art. Done with my tablet using Medibang

Full body

 

Another commission (most of the art I did was commissioned art). I was pretty proud of this full body, but not entirely satisfied. This was done on my tablet with Medibang.

Attempt at a human

 

(Another comm) This is much better than the first human I drew lmao... Also this took an embarrassing amount of time, due to the fact that I didn't really know how to draw humans.

Improvement?

 

(Another comm) during this time I was getting used to shading and such, much better quality than my first comm. Made on my tablet with Medibang.

Year 3

This was the first time I drew on my computer (and used an actual drawing tablet). I was getting used to my style, and was making better quality art.

Fullbody

 

(Another comm) At this point I stopped using irl cat refs for my full bodys. I got used to my style, and was willfully letting it adjust over time.

Improvement?

 

(Another comm) This is also rather new, I'm kinda figuring out backgrounds and such, and I can shade pretty 'OKAY'. Made on Fire Alpaca

And that's pretty much it for now.
I've had a lot of fun during these 3yrs, and honestly I must say I'm pretty proud of my self.
