Le First Poem~
“I’m Always Here”
Shadows crawl along walls
As young girl sits and bawls
Her dreams are crush by parents scold
She feels, dark, alone and cold.
Then a ding interrupts her sobs
She crawls across the bed
And across the room to lock the door knob
She reads the simple message in her head
"I'll always be here"
Tears slide down her cheeks
Everything she was feeling, the fear
The sadness, the silent shrieks
Has disappeared
And a beautiful smile was born
The tears have reappeared
Not those of depression nor scorn
But of joy and love
These emotions managed to shove
Their way through the sadness
And blossom into unending gladness
