Hornetsting scoffed loudly. "You know, lizards cant smell?" he rested his chin on the fluffy moss, licking his own nose self consciously. Hornetsting let his fiery eyes rake over the kitten, claws flexing into the dirt. "Sounds like you're going to have to work extra hard, the clan doesn't need any freeloaders in it. I pity your poor mentor," He sneered at the kitten, but his words held little poison to them. Hornetsting didnt often filter his words.

Lizardkit's face remained emotionless. It always did. So, that's how the clan treated disabled cats. No wonder Irisflame seemed so concerned.

Hornetsting did not appreciate the attitude from the kitten. He deserved respect, not some pip squeak talking to him like he didn't know what he was doing. "Cats eat lizards! We eat snakes and frogs, the type of lizards kittypets own cannot survive within our territory... Make sure you won't be the one to get eaten, fleabag!" He snapped at the kitten, nudging them away with his large snout, "Bugger off and annoy someone else!"

"Fine." said Lizardkit calmly. She padded away into the clearing. I will show everyone I am a good warrior. In fact I do not care if they know how good I am. I will know I am the best. But it would still feel good to see them realize how much better I am than everyone.

The small black cat was faced on his feet. He dashed ahead, smacking a sheathed paw into the apprentice's exposed throat. If that hit landed, he would slide under and use his entire body weight in an attempt to knock their front paws out from under them.
