♚ If it feels good, tastes good, it must be mine. ♚

Xerxes, a loner who thinks so highly of himself. He's made his way through life by just manipulating and using every cat he's met. They're not perfect enough to love and care for anyways. This almost sociopathic cat has found a nice place near the clans, thinking he might stay in this area for awhile. The loner knows nothing about the clans' existence, only knowing of the odd smells in the forest that he's passed by before. The tom seems to not care about these smells though, knowing he's found a great place to live. Seeing how he's near a twolegplace, there are many shiny things for him to collect and seeing how there's a river there's many smooth pebbles for him to. The prey there for him is also in abundance at this time of year. Xerxes thinks he's found some place to stay for the rest of his days. Sure, not many perfect cats are around for him to become friends with but it seems like there's an abundance of cats for him to use for his own manners. One day, Xerxes meets another loner. He's not too fond of them seeing how they'll never look and be as great as him, and Xerxes already plans to use this cat for when he needs them. Keeping on his fake personality of kindness, the cat stays his friend and one day they ask him if he's had a run in with the clans. Of course, Xerxes has no idea about the clans. He's never needed to go into their territory. So, saying no, Xerxes asks more out of curiosity. The cat then tells them almost everything about the clans that they know. Though, one thing sparks a sudden interest in Xerxes; the fact that clans are led by one cat and one cat only. He stops the cat to ask more about these leaders and the cat tells him of things he could never imagine. The clan follows the leader's say, their word rule, the leaders somehow gain nine lives, so many cats look up to their position. At this moment, Xerxes knows what he wants and he wont stop until he gets it. The dark-colored loner wants this position of power and he know's he should be the only one holding this power. Of course, because he's the most perfect cat around and no one could be better than him in that position. Soon, Xerxes' attitude changes around the cat that was once his "friend". He's uncaring, dark, and mean. Xerxes' had used up what he needed from the cat so this other loner was useless to him. This drives the loner away on their own.

♚ I'm taking back the crown. ♚

Xerxes' soon figures out how the territory is split into parts, each clan owning their own space. The loner figures that the clans will chase him from the territory if he seems like a threat, so he puts on the act once again. Bracing himself for what might be the longest he's gone without his true nature, Xerxes' enters one of the territories. He doesn't know that this territory belongs to the one and only WindClan, but he does understand that it belongs to a clan with a ranking status and that's all he needs. Wandering the moors of WindClan, the loner is soon found by a WindClan patrol. These cats are relatively nice enough to not start attacking Xerxes and ask what he's doing. Xerxes, in his kindest and fakest act, tells the patrol that he heard about the clans and wants to join one. He acts terribly excited and happy about the thought of becoming a warrior like these cats, and the patrol buys it. Seeing how any clan could always do with another cat, they bring him across the territory and into the camp. The patrol goes to speak with Blazingstar about this and Xerxes manages to keep his cool. Once in the leader's den, Xerxes keeps looking around as he knows one day this will be his den. It must be. Of course, the nice act Xerxes' has put on allows Blazingstar to lower his guard enough to allow the loner into the clan as a warrior, seeing how Xerxes is an older loner with the basic skills of fighting and hunting. Xerxes stays in the camp for a few days without his ceremony so he can learn the basics of clan life, and also to make sure he's not up to no good. Of course, he keeps up his act and finds it easy to integrate into WindClan in just those few days. His acting and fake personality makes the other cats comfortable around him, there's still skeptical cats but at least no one expects Xerxes is who he really is.

♚ Dress me up and watch me die. ♚

Soon, Xerxes' ceremony comes and Blazingstar is going to give him his warrior name. This loner will officially become a WindClanner. Though, Xerxes gets a little disgusted at the fact that he'd have to change his name. His mother gave him that name anyways, and he's the one and only Xerxes The Great. As Blazingstar gives him a new name, Xerxes outright interrupts the leader's words and asks as nicely as he can as if he can keep his name. Though, he will persist if anyone says otherwise. This is a sign of something being up with Xerxes, as he wanted to join the clan but doesn't want to change his name. The full disrespect of interrupting Blazingstar and a ceremony is overlooked by Xerxes as he outright doesn't care. Though, he puts it as he's a loner and wasn't sure that he was supposed to do that. Xerxes does get to keep his name, and he's glad about that. The, now former, loner instantly gets involved in patrols and things around the clan, getting on the good side of everyone but only caring about the thoughts of one other cat. Xerxes only really cares for Blazingstar at this moment, as he is the current leader of this clan and needs to get on his good side if he possibly wants to rule over WindClan one day. Working his hardest, or at least faking the hard work, Xerxes takes it upon himself to talk to Blazingstar almost daily. The new WindClanner takes up an even nicer personality, putting it out there that he wants to be friends with the WindClan leader. Even if it's lowkey. It's almost like Xerxes was an excited kit who looked up to the leader of his clan. Though, that would be farthest from the truth. Xerxes plan would be to become best friends with Blazingstar, using him to climb the ranks. Though, a cat has been watching Xerxes. This cat notices how Xerxes is towards Blazingstar, but doesn't know if this new cat was a danger to the leader or not. Xerxes continues to put up this act, but he ends up on a one-on-one patrol with this other cat. He keeps up the act through the patrol and soon this cat lowers their guard. Xerxes calls this a close one and slowly starts to make his act better.

♚ Heroes always get remembered, but you know legends never die. ♚

Xerxes has been in WindClan for a while now though, it hasn't been for nothing. He's made "friends" and has been keeping their potential for usage close to him. Xerxes has become known in the clan, and the slight status of people caring that he exists boosts his already big ego and starts to make him think that he's better than he already is. Of course, no cat can be that great but it isn't stopping Xerxes from knowing he's the best. This boost in ego just allows Xerxes to start doing more things around the clan so he can get more of that high from the feeling of being respected and praised for being the best. The tom begins working harder, talking to more cats, and most of all keeps trying to develop that relationship with Blazingstar. Xerxes knows what he came here for and he's not going to stop trying to reach for that goal. Though, he's going to try and become the most perfect warrior on the side of course. Now, this leaves room for a new cat to be skeptical of Xerxes. Seeing how he's quickly climbed status due to his handsome charm and "nice" personality, it's alarming. Sure, it could happen, but Xerxes was a loner. Why would everyone like him? Well, that's what the thinking of this new cat has become. Xerxes doesn't exactly notice that this cat is skeptical of him, so he keeps doing what he's doing. Though, he makes "friends" with this cat and they watch him closely for awhile. Xerxes isn't exactly alarmed of this cat, as they don't show any reason for him to be. Even if he knew, he most likely wouldn't care anyways. Xerxes has a lot of WindClan on his side and the majority usually wins things. Being friends with other WindClanners has opened Xerxes up to the other "evil" warriors in the clan left over from the past Evil Era. He's slowly allowed a part of his real personality to show around some select cats like this, ones he thinks could help him out or at least not tell anyone about his secrets and vouch for him if something ever happens. Of course, having a bunch of evil and power hungry cats together as "friends" is never a good thing; for both the evil cats and the others around them.

♚ So close I can taste it. ♚

Xerxes has made close enough friends with Blazingstar at this point with the help of his new "friends", though he still isn't close enough. Blazingstar would have to be gone and Xerxes would depend on the deputy choosing him as deputy, or Xerxes would have to wait for Blazingstar to need a new deputy. Seeing how the former loner can't exactly choose either of these at the moment, he waits longer. He continues to try and keep up this act that has just gotten old for him. He's never gone this long without having days of him just being himself and its starting to take a slight toll on him. His act is gaining holes in the barricade that shielded who he really was from WindClan. It may not be exactly noticeable, but Xerxes begins to snap at people. The tom blames it on stress and apologizes against his will and most seem to accept it. Though, the two cats that were once skeptical of Xerxes before notice this. These two cats have sort of gotten to know each other in the time it's taken for Xerxes to get this far. These two cats fuel each other's skepticism for the former loner, giving Xerxes a problem that he has no idea exists. These two cats know they cant just accuse Xerxes of anything though, so they try to get closer to him to see if they find anything out. Still, it's a problem as almost all of Xerxes' life has been hiding who he is and what he does. It's also hard for them seeing how Xerxes doesn't view them as useable, they don't have purpose for him. Of course, this doesn't stop the two loyal WindClanners from watching Xerxes. The former loner could be a threat, especially seeing how close he's gotten to Blazingstar and the hearts of other warriors.

♚ I see what's mine and take it. ♚

Xerxes is still waiting out his plan, trying to see if anything happens that will help him out. Something does happen, but it's not something that will help Xerxes. One of the other cats considered evil, one that had become Xerxes' friend, suddenly betrays him and teams up with the two loyal warriors who were skeptical of him. This cat realized that Xerxes as leader wouldn't be good, as they would rather be leader than this former loner. Still, the tom has no idea what's going on and starts to scheme up more plans to take the figurative crown from Blazingstar. Of course, the plans would take awhile, just like this act has taken, but Xerxes is tired of this nice act and just wants power as soon as possible. Not knowing about the betrayal yet, Xerxes tells his group about possible plans to get his spot as leader and in turn accidentally blurts out all of this to the one cat who's betrayed him. Nothing's horrible yet, as no one decides to strike first. It's almost like a complete stand still. Though, after a bit, Xerxes is the first to strike in a sense. The tom has decided he's going to get some more points in with Blazingstar and goes to the leader's den. Though, once he's in there is when the other three cats strike next. They decide to follow Xerxes into the leader's den and blurt out everything Xerxes has been working on to the WindClan leader. The things these three cats say are so detailed that the evidence is weighted all against Xerxes. The tom can't believe he was betrayed and in a rare fit of panic for losing all that he's been working on, Xerxes tries to attack Blazingstar and the other three cats. His sudden plan is to take all of Blazingstar's lives and the lives of the other three. Of course, three against one is an unfair and stupid fight and the lash out is enough evidence for Blazingstar to realize who Xerxes really is. All that time spent in WindClan was for nothing, Xerxes' plan had failed.

♚ Dynasty decapitated, you just might see a ghost tonight. ♚

It's instantly decided that Xerxes needs to be exiled from WindClan, forever of course. The tom is dragged to the WindClan Breezerock and held down by the two once skeptical, now knowing, cats and the other who betrayed Xerxes' rare gift of trust and care. Of course, there should be a bit of confusion at this. Why would this cat we all know and care for be held down under the Breezerock as he snaps at the cats holding him? Though, the situation is explained by Blazingstar and things clear up. Put everything together and it's almost clear that Xerxes was planning this all along. The tom is exiled from WindClan, shouting the whole way he's chased off. Who would have thought, that a plan so carefully dragged out could fail so easily? Though, Xerxes is still out there and it's not like him to leave a threat unfinished.

cinnamonpaw is a daring tom who holds almost no regard for what anybody else thinks [except when it's about him]. his personality is fiery, leaving him with loads of energy. he is often seen to be poking his nose into anybody and everybody's business to see if anyone's talking bad about him or a friend, but his ebullience may not be all positive, however, as it makes cinnamon feel that his way of thinking is how everybody should think and feel. he doesn't care in the slightest about starclan or any such ancestors and thinks that belief in them makes you weak, as he is an independent tom who feels that he doesn't need anyone taking care of him. of course, he also happens to be very open, choosing to display everything that he's feeling right on his face for everyone to see. as a result, he has no idea how to shield his feelings and can be rather sensitive when someone talks bad about him. he also has anger issues, which is definitely not a good combination. if anyone manages to get past his layer of defense and into his group of friends, he will die for them in a heartbeat. friends do not come easily to this tom, and he knows when to cherish the idea of it. however, cinnamonpaw is easily influenced, and he's sure to struggle with where his loyalties lie later in the future.

Roleplay Example: Spottedsong shuffled uncomfortably, "Well, there are stories of a kittypet becoming leader, so I think it would be OK..." The golden she-cat wasn't sure though, she had lived most of her life in the EE. Spottedsong had no idea about Gyrewinds views. "Maybe I could wander into a badger den and you could save me? Thunderclan would surely accept you..." She flicked her tail, she hated how she had to meet Briar in secret. But her reputation was at stake. She put her tail carefully on shoulder, trying to comfort him. Spottedsong knew he hated tunnels, and for that she felt all to guilty.

Spottedsong smiled shyly as he complemented her catch; a rare sight to see normally, but a common one when she was with Briar. She watched in awe at his climbing abilities. The she-cat had never been one for heights, she preferred the ground. "Your great at climbing... I'm not for it as much...." She saddened as their conversation turned to her, she licked her pelt nervously, "Everything's fine!" She said it all to quickly though. In Thunderclan she had many sleepless nights, worrying about Briar; Spottedsongs greatest worry was a Thunderclan Tom that she was sure was in love with her. She didn't want to reject him, but in her heart she knew that he was not the one.

She sighed, and decided to be honest, "A Thunderclan Tom wants to be my mate, but I don't love him, and I don't want to see him heartbroken. What should I do! There's also you; sleeping out in the cold, half starved and with no medicine cat!"
