"Hrm... this is bad, what if it att-" Nightlight didn't get to finish the sentence as he felt a sudden stinging pain on his side, and felt blood rushing out. As he yowled, the thing that attacked him was atop of him, snarling at him, waiting for him to give up... trying with all his might, he held off the thing as the scent finally registered. 'A-a fox!' He thought, getting tired, and soon he felt a sharp pain on his neck, blood gushing out of his mouth as he choked.

Stonegaze leaped into action, shoving the fox to the ground and viciously tearing out its throat. It was surely dead. "Nightlight!" He yowled. He carefully moved the cat into camp. "Someone help!"

Dragonpaw heard this and ran back to camp. He skidded to a halt and saw nightlight "wh-wha happened?"
