Darkmoon watched Thyme and Softshadow, hurt. Maybe Badge is the one I'll choose for a love, she decided sadly. Softshadow'll probably fall for Thyme, and then he'll forget me...

Lavendermask thought Darkmoon looked... sad? No, depressed? Hurt, she decided. 'What's wrong?'

* The burly tom padded out of the den and started trotting off. He mewed over his shoulder. *
" See you guys later got to get back to Whisper. "
* He kept padding off until the forest consumed him. *

What was that noise? Lightningstorm padded through the forest and heard yelling. She ran to the commotion.

Darkmoon stared blankly at the entrance of the den, not even noticing approaching pawsteps.

Lightningstorm spotted the den and padded in. 'Darkmoon! I've missed you!'

'Goodnight,' Lavendermask mewed softly, padding out of the den. 'I need to get back.' She bounded away towards camp.

'Bye Lightningstorm!' mewed Darkmoon to the she-cat. 'You'd better get going too!' She ran after Lavendermask.

Lightningstorm nodded goodbye and headed into the forest to her den.
