Kane let out a small gasp when Jake hugged him. He stood and watched Jake sit on the couch and turn on the TV. Kane went and stood behind the couch, looking at him. "But don't you want to see your daughter?" He asked. "Ciara might want that. She has you instead of me, which I'm fine with. Why-?" Kane flinched in surprise when Jake interrupted him.

Kane nodded. "H-how did you know what was wrong with me? How did you know that I was lonely? I never said anything. Can you read minds?" He asked, raising an eyebrow but stepping back toward the stairs like he didn't want to hear the answer but did at the same time.

Poppy flinched when the wall shook and she ran into the room and in a panicked tone asked "What's happening? Is everything ok? Is the baby hurt?" Poppy's wings came out and she took sharp breathes in pain and then bit her lip to stop from screaming.

Kane shook his head. "I... alright." He bolted upstairs without another word.

Moon jumped down the stairs past Kane and went to Poppy. "Hey. The baby is fine. Kane must have been upset." She explained, smiling, wrapping her tail around her back talons as Moon turned half dragon again.

Ciara jolted awake at a yowl of pain. She sat up fast and flinched at her pain. She glanced over at Moonwatcher. Her daughter was holding her other daughter and sleeping with her. Ciara stood up on shaky legs and somehow managed to get downstairs. Holding the railing, Ciara felt her legs almost give out under her, but she stood her ground. The girl got to the couch and sat down with a yawn and a groan. She looked at Sandy and Jake. "What's happening?" She asked, feeling her sore arms go limp.
