Having a cat so quiet to train was rather refreshing, Owlthroat hoped that came with ample observation skills. ”I’ll allow you to use your claws against me whilst sparring, don’t be silly with that, aim for reasonable places.” Owlthroat’s voice rung lowly.

He’d cover some advanced techniques then let him spar it out. ”Shoulder grabs and launching onto the back of a warrior can be effective, especially if they’re on the bigger side like myself. Another thing to consider is the tail, typically the only thing which keeps an enemy balanced.” Owlthroat paused for a second, considering what to cover next, perhaps some of his dirtier fighting tricks.

”To debilitate aim for eyes and nose, soft spots like the belly bleed the most. Permanent injury can be done with thick slices to the tendons at the back of the paws. Just avoid this on me.” He spat the last words out, Silentpaw would get a good slapping if he tried any of those.

”Understood?” It’d be interesting seeing the product of Newtbelly’s training. Had he really taught him well? Owlthroat hoped so, he liked a challenge.
