Today was cool, almost chilly. Light grey clouds floated on overhead and a light breeze filtered through the camp. However, the nursery remained untouched by the wind, and so did the little snoozing cat inside of it.

A small, dark body rose and fell as it snored, pale eyes shut as dreams of mossballs and feathers took up all the space in their little head. Silkkit slept peacefully, although they were most certainly susceptible to any pranks or mischief that a daring cat may be tempted to pull. Nonetheless, to them, the world was quiet, and they could rest easily.

please note that silkkit should be referred to as a tom with he/him pronouns IRP.

The voice of their older brother--not by blood, but a shared desire for connection--stirred the dark-furred kitten from their slumber. First, it was a twitch of their ears, then their tail curled and their paws fumbled. Pale eyes blinked open and immediately recognised Vinepaw. "Hi, Vinepaw," Silkkit mewed. Their words were followed by a yawn. Then, they stood up--pushing themselves from their rump to their paws, before sitting back on their haunches with, again, another tired yawn.

"What are we doing today?" The kit tilted their head in curiosity. Hopefully something fun..!
